Snow
Snow is a typical natural phenomenon in winter. Some people who live in the southern areas in China await its arrival. The falling snowflakes contribute to some romantic sights. In Northern areas, especially near Russian borders, however, the attitude towards snow might be the opposite. Many people don't like winter, and they temporarily move to the South in this season.
I learned from the textbook in my childhood; that snow can actually be beneficial for agriculture, which can kill pests that are hidden in the soil.

Mi trabajo
Soy un programador y trabajo para una universidad. Estoy muy agradecido por tener este trabajo. El medioambiente de la oficina es amable y relajado. Cuando termino mis tareas por el día, disfruto hablando con mis compañeros. Estoy feliz que haya otros nerds que tengan los mismos intereses como yo. Hablamos sobre la tecnología y la literatura.
Otra razón por la que estoy muy agradecido por tener este trabajo es que estaba muy nervioso de encontrar un trabajo. Yo aprendí cómo hacer código por mi cuenta. Así que, no tuve una licenciatura en la ciencia de computadoras. Hice un sitio de web para mostrar todos los proyectos que hice, y creo que eso me ayudó. Estoy orgulloso de todo lo que ya he logrado.

Dzisiaj był długi i ciężki dzień.
Obudziłem się o ósmej, ale byłem tak zmęczony, że ustawiłem minutnik, żeby spać jeszcze 15 minut. Potem wstałem się i się przygotowałem, żeby pojechać do uniwersyteta. Ponieważ dzisiaj miałem zajęcia od wpół do dziewiątej do dziewiętnastej*, wczoraj wieczoram przygotowałem sobie obiad. Niestety, jak mój mózg źle działa o poranku, zapomniałem obiad w domu i zdałem sobie z tego sprawę tylko, gdy już byłem od kilku metrów do uniwersyteta. Tak musiałem jeść w uniwersytecie podczas krótkiej przerwy, którą nam dała profesorka (jedyna przerwa dnia była później po południu). W sumie miałem około dziewięć godzin zajęć z tylko półgodzinną przerwą popołudniem, nie licząc pięćdziesiątych minut, które profesorka nam dała w południu. Wtorek jest okropnym dniem.
Tak obiad, który przygotowałem, zjedłem na kolacji. Powinienem był odrabiać zadania domowe, ale po prostu nie mam sił. W każdym razie to nie ważne zadania. Szczęśliwie to jest dla mnie ostani semestr i tylko ta myśl mnie motywuje.

Las regiones de España
Quiero mudarme a España este año, pero no sé en qué región. Hay varias opciones y cada tiene su propio beneficio. Podría ir al norte este verano y disfrutar el clima más fresco y el entorno verde. Allí el clima y el paisaje son similares a donde vivo en Escocia. Hay menos turistas o guiris en el norte lo cual prefiero. Me pregunto que debería visitar a Santander, Gijón, Vigo y Asturias. Me podría quedar durante dos o tres semanas en cada ciudad en un Airbnb y seguir teletrabajando. Después que pueda decidir dónde es mejor.
Por otro lado, el sur es más barato y la genta es más acogedora (supuestamente). Hace cinco años visité a mi hermano en Granada. Me encantaba la ciudad, la cultura y las bares. Me gustaría visitar otras ciudades del sur como Cádiz, Málaga y en el este, Valencia. El problema es que me matará el calor de verano. Para vivir allí necesitaría salir del sur en el verano y devolver a Escocia. Además quiero evitar las zonas de Málaga y Alicante que son atestado de guiris (soy hipócrita).
Hay demasiadas ciudades bonitas!

La norriture
La norriture d'aujourd'hui est étonnante. On a des aliments très variés qui nous pouvons manger grâce à les moyens du transport et de la appropiation culturelle.
Je dirais que mes plâts favoris sont le kebab et les lentilles. Je suis conscient qu'ils n'ont pas aucune similitude, mais ça c'est la puissance de la variété alimentaire. D'autre, j'aime bien les pâtes et les crevettes. À nouveau, ce sont des plâts totalement diffèrents, mais que nous tous pouvons manger et tester.
Je dois encore manger beaucoup d'aliments des autres pays, mais une chose que je n'en mangerais jamais sont les insectes. Je ne pourrait pas même à regarder une araignée ou une tarantula, encore moins leur manger.

TSA et la santé mentale des enfants
Il y a un manque d’interventions pour soutenir la santé mentale des enfants avec trouble du spectre de l’autisme (TSA) qui ne peuvent pas communiquer. Les interventions qui ont le plus de soutien de la recherche comprennent la thérapie cognitivo-comportementale, thérapie d’acceptation et d’engagement, et thérapie basées sur la pleine conscience, mais ils sont sur mesure pour des gens qui peuvent communique bien avec les autres. Pour promouvoir la santé mentale, c’est important de considérer variables d’environnement comme des situations trop stimulantes, par exemple situations trop bruyants ou trop encombrés, qui peuvent être stressant pour eux. C’est important aussi remarquer les déclencheurs qui mène à réactions d’évitement ou comportements agressifs. La collaboration avec des médecins est très utile, parce que beaucoup d’enfants avec TSA prennent de la médication qui peut mène de réactions secondaires qui as un effet sur le comportement. Finalement, en matière du développement des compétences, c’est important de développer la capacité de communiquer de l’enfant.

Un encuentro inesperado en un café
Está mañana fui a mi café favorito en mi ciudad, se llama "Fretboard Coffee." La café esta ubicada en un calle muy tranquila y me encanta ir para sentarme y estudiar cuando pueda. Esta mañana estuve allí tomando el café cuando ví mi mejor amigo de la secundaria. No nos encontramos desde hace muchos tiempo y no creía que estuviera preparado para hablar con él. No sabía lo que quería decir.
Luego de pidió su té, le llamó y me saludó. Fue como si no pasara mucho tiempo. Hablamos de nuestras propias carreras y los deportes, también. El trabaja como un altavoz para el equipo de fútbol americano local. Me dijo que a veces veía las superestrellas del equipo, pero eso no pasa con frecuencia. Como alguién que trabajo en una tienda chicita, fue loco oír mas como funciona una organización tan grande y para ser honesto estaba celoso.
No obstante, fue increíble a verlo otra vez más y tuve divertido platicar con él sobre la vida. Estoy agradecido que tomé la decisión para llamar a él y que tuvimos este tiempo. Quién sea, tal vez la proxima vez que visito Fretboard, vaya a encontrar otro amigo. Espero que si.

旧暦正月といえば、祝儀袋でお金を貰われる事だと思い出します。小さい頃に毎年たくさんの祝儀袋を貰って、そして枕の下において、旧暦十四日までにずっと待って、最後に祝儀袋を開けることは一番楽しかったことでした。あのお金は実はあまり多くありませんでしたけど。大人になってから、祝儀袋の数がだんだん減ってきました。その上に、大人にとってそのお金は大したことではないという感じもあって、子供の時ほど楽しくなくてきました。最近も基本的に十四日まで待てませんでした。しかも、まだ結婚しないですけど、大人だから、住んでいるアパートの警備員さんとか色々な知り合いに祝儀袋をあげなければならないことになりました。

Dans mon pays existe la groupe « Hugo Boss AG » qui vend des vêtements, des parfums et des horloges.
L’entreprise a été fondé en 1924 par le tailleur Hugo Ferdinand Boss. À cette époque-là, la groupe produit des vêtements professionnels. Dans les années 30 et pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, Hugo Boss les produits pour les nationaux-socialistes.
À la fin des années 40, la groupe a commencé à produire des costumes pour homme. C’était un grand succès pour l’entreprise. En 1954, l’entreprise avait une introduction en Bourse est devenue une « Aktiengesellschaft » (société anonyme). En 1984, le premier parfum de Hugo Boss était présenté. En outre, la première mode pour femme était commercialisé en 1999.
Aujourd’hui, c’est une marque qui est très connue partout dans le monde.

The one thing
I have recently been reading the book called “The One Thing”, written by Gary Keller.
It says that you need to find the one thing in your life. You can't chase too many goals if you want to be successful.
It does make senses. Everybody has limited time and energy. It also points out that you need to find out the one thing in your life, then in your 10 year plan, 5 year plan, in the end, the one thing today. You need to set your priorities. Find out the most important thing, and finish it. Then the other things will go like dominoes. And success will be achieved naturally.
I believe it’s true. But the most difficult part is how to find the most important thing. I want to be wealthy. I want to be healthy and I want to be happy. It’s easy to have many desires and goals. Learn to do subtraction in life and hope I will find the one thing of my own soon.

Aujourd'hui j'étais très occupée. Je pense que je dois travailler ce weekend. Il va faire très chaud pour sortir dehors quand même.
J'ai mangé mon déjeuner dehors, parce qu'il fait très beau aujourd'hui.
Sur le chemin du retour j'ai acheté deux petits gâteaux pour le Nouvel An Chinois. Un est décoré comme un tête de dragon, l'autre est en forme d'une mandarine. J'espère qu'ils goût aussi bons qu'ils en ont l'air.

A thought
I’ve been learning to write on LC since the summer of 2021. I have made big progress so far. I am very grateful to LC and I often think about what a great website it is.
These days, I’ve been thinking why LC doesn’t open voice rooms for people to improve their speaking? If LC opens voice rooms, which would be the best voice rooms for language exchange in the world.
I can see that from the great performance LC did. What do you think, LC users? We not only need to write well, but also need to speak well, right?

Now I am on a train to Hainan island and the train is a normal speed train, not a high speed train.
This is the first time I have taken a normal speed train in many years. In the last ten years, high speed trains have been developed rapidly, so high speed trains are more popular than ordinary trains.
High speed trains only have one shot coming-its price is a little expensive. For instance, taking a normal train from Fuyang to Shanghai only takes 93 RMB, while a high speed train takes around 320 RMB. However, a high speed train is three times faster than an ordinary train.
The trip I am taking is from Fuyang to Haikou and it will take 29 hours. I departed at 11 am from Fuyang train station and I will be arriving at Haikou train station by 5:30 pm tomorrow afternoon.
I've been to Hainan island several times, but I always took a plane and the plane ticket was around 700 RMB. The trip by plane is only 2 and a half hours.
This time I am going to Hainan almost during the traditional Chinese new year and many people go to Hainan at the same time, so plane tickets are going up soon. I checked the plane ticket last night and it was around 2000 RMB for a single ride.
My son's family also went to Hainan this morning. My sister-in-law and her husband were with my son's family. They drove a car.
We are supposed to arrive at Haikou at almost the same time-tomorrow afternoon. My parents-in-law, my wife and one of my nephews are waiting for us there. We have two apartments in Hakou. A rented one and one I just bought a few days ago.

Недавно в учебнике русской грамматики я наткнулась на загадочное предложение: Глокая куздра штеко будланула бокра и кудрячит бокрёнка. Согласно Википедии, российский лингвист Лев Щерба использовал это в своих лекциях, чтобы подчеркнуть важность грамматики в изучении иностранных языков. Каждое слово бессмысленно, но все аффиксы настоящие и употребляются грамматически правильно. Я думаю, он имеет в виду следующее: даже если вы не знаете значения слов в предложении, по смыслу грамматики вы можете догадаться оструктуры предложений.
Я очень убежден в его мнении. Я новичок в изучении России, но последний год я сосредоточилась на изучении русской грамматики. Итак, я могу отличить существительное, прилагательное и глагол в этом предложении по их окончательной форме.
Глокая - имя женское прилагательное
куздра - имя женское существительное
штеко — наречие
будланула – глагол прошедшего времени
бокра — прямое дополнение
и — союз
кудрячит — глагол несовершенного вида

Sitcoms and Films I Enjoyed
What come to my mind right now are Charmed, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Raiders of the Lost Ark. The last one is the oldest, and I watched it at a theater with two classmates, and we didn't watch it twice but three times in a row. I don't know if it was okay to sit there for such long hours, but it was that much fun! The rest of the list consists of TV dramas. They are contemporaries to the famous sitcom Friends, but they are easier for an English learner like me to understand. So, I hope other English learners get a chance to watch any of them.
