Bus transit
Le ville de Edmonton est dan charge du transport en commun. II y a différent chemain à navette dans la ville. Ils vont le bus and le train Que personnes utilized de voyager travaille. Le train est rapid est pratique Mai’s avoir limite arrest. Un voyage pour 1h peux pens 2h avec la bus. Que est pourqui les personnes utiliser le train pluton le bus. Cest abordable tout le monde à cause vous payer 35 dollars un moi.

Onigiri - Part 2 (122)
This is a continuation of my previous entry.
I bought an interesting onigiri when I was in New York City.
It was called "Nori Onigiri."
When I opened it, I was shocked by the color of the wakame seaweed.
The onigiri had shredded wakame seaweed mixed into the rice.
The color of the seaweed was shocking green, so it didn't look appetizing.
I showed my friend the onigiri, and she was also surprised by the color.
I assumed it contained some artificial color.
Now, I regret that I didn't take a picture of it.
I searched for the shop online, but I couldn't find the picture of the onigiri.
I found someone's blog where they explaining the food in the shop, Wasabi in London.
However, the Nori onigiri looked different from the one in New York.

Nadie va a hacerlo para ti. "No one's gonna do it for you"
Este dicho he oído hace un buen rato. Estoy bastante seguro de que se ha dicho por un YouTuber estadounidense muy conocido que se llama Markiplier, pero no podía encontrar exactamente dónde lo dijo a cualquiera lugar cuando lo busqué. Supongo que él lo dijo sin pensarlo mucho en algún vídeo viejo, hace años. Pero, se me quedó en mi mente durante muchos años.
Es un poco fuerte, pero tiene un poco razón. Hay algunas cosas que ninguna persona va a hacer para mi, y además, no debía hacer para mi. Nadie va a aprender un idioma en mi lugar, por ejemplo. Y me encanta hacer cosas yo mismo.
Sin embargo, creo que hay problemas con este dicho. Nadie va a hacerlo para ti, pero alguna gente podría hacerlo contigo. En aquél vídeo que yo miraba hace tanto tiempo, creo que él dijo que, años atrás, había mucho trabajo empezando su canal de YouTube, y no tenía un equipo grande como tiene hoy. Se lo diría a su mismo cuando se sintiera perezoso pero algo necesitara ser hecho: "nadie va a hacerlo para ti, nadie va a hacerlo para ti, nadie va a hacerlo para ti".
Pero ahora, años más tarde, tiene mucha gente que le puede ayudar. Y ahora está haciendo una película. ¡No se puede hacer eso sólo! A veces, se tiene que aceptar alguna ayuda.

Sehr geehrte Frau Bader,
Ich hoffe, es geht Ihnen gut, ich wende mich an Sie, um einen Sonderurlaub am 23 April zu erlauben, An diesem Tag findet in der Nähe ein beruflichen Weiterbuildungsseminar statt, an dem ich gern teilnehmen möchte, meine fachlichen Wissen zu erweitern und neue Erfahrung zu sammeln.
Da ich meine aktuellen Aufgabe bereite vorab erledit habe. Würde ich meine Zeit nutzen, und mich weiterzubilden, zudem bin ich bereits währed des Seminars felxibel zu arbeiten , Falls erfordliche, kann ich meinen Laptop nutzen , um austehende Aufgabe auch in meiner Abwesenheit zu bearbeiten.
Ich wäre dankbar, wenn sie meinen Antrag zusammen stimmen, für Ihnen Unterstützung dankbar ich in Voraus.

La neige en Amérique du Nord
Au Chili, la majorité du territoire ne reçoit pas de neige ; quand même il existe des lieux où on peut la trouver: les montagnes hautes et la bien nommée zone Australe. Je me souviens d'avoir visité les montagnes et d'avoir joué dans la neige quand j'étais petit. Par contre, je ne l'ai jamais vu tomber.
Il y a 3 mois j'avais visité les États-Unis, pour première fois en hiver. Étant déjà allé deux fois, je connaissais le climat un peu, mais cette fois il était différent. Les premiers jours, il n'y avait pas de neige, mais c'était nouveau pour moi de sentir la température tomber sous zéro degré pendant la journée. Normalement cela n'arrivait que dans les nuits les plus froides.
Un jour, soudain, la précipitation avait commencé. Il était vraiment beau de voir la neige tomber, elle semblait comme des petits cotons descendants lentement, c'était exactement comme les clichés disent. J'ai passé un bon moment juste en regardant la neige.
La sensation au toucher de la neige était aussi différente que je n'avais pensé. À la différence de la neige des montagnes, cette neige semblait plus douce et légère. J'ai été surpris lorsqu'elle a disparu après quelques secondes d'avoir touché mes vêtements ; elle ne s'y collait pas, ce n'était pas du tout comme lorsqu'il pleut sur soi.
Il y a aussi des complications, certes. Marcher dans la neige peut être compliqué, sinon dangereux, surtout après quelques jours de la chute, quand la neige devient de la glace. Si on a une voiture, il faut dégager les vitres, gonfler les pneus, saler les chemins... ça n'a pas l'air d'être le fun.
Sinon je dirais que j'ai eu une bonne impression de la neige. Même si nous sommes déjà en avril, il a neigé hier, et j'en suis tellement remercie!

Indie is Making a Horse Out of Beeswax
In the Bluey episode "Cotton," the classmates are making animals out of beeswax.
Indie wants to make a horse, but her classmates think it looks like a cow. She starts to feel like she’s not good at anything. Her mate, Winton, gives her a hand, and together they try to make the horse look just right. They found the neck is too short compared to the true one. So they stretch the neck a bit, and now the classmates say it’s a giraffe! Too long! Eventually, they adjust the neck again, and finally, it looks like a horse!
During the process, Indie feels like giving up. She says, “I can’t make a horse… but it’s a good cow.” That moment made me think: if we always change our ideas just to fit what others think, are we really being true to ourselves?

My Middle School Life
The middle school I used to study at is in my hometown, which is about two kilometers from my village.
When I was in elementary school, I didn’t need to stay at school because there was not much schoolwork, and the school was right behind my village.
However, in middle school, almost all of us were required to live on the campus, except for a few students who lived in the town.
At the very beginning of my middle school time, the students in my class didn’t know each other as all of us came from different villages.
Living conditions at school back then were really tough. There was no electricity in the school, nor was there hot water in each dormitory.
On the eastern side of the campus, there was a big pond. We went there to wash our faces every morning. If you wanted to get hot water, you had to go to the canteen in the back corner of the campus.
In winter, we had to find a brick to break the ice in the pond. As a result, every morning we went to our classroom with many pieces of ice in our hair.
Since we went to the classroom very early, it was still dark inside and outside the room, so we tried to light the vapor lamp-a kind of lamp consuming kerosene.
Our food was steamed buns made of sweet potato flour, and the soup made with water, salt and greens. We ate such food for a full three years.
Our dormitory was also shabby. There were even two holes in its back wall. Some students liked to make jokes by saying “please hold your blanket tightly, so that it won't be blown away” every night.
Time flies! Although it was already decades ago, the tough middle school life still left me with a lot of beautiful memories.

Die unerträgliche Leichtigkeit des Passiven
Seit einige Jahren habe ich angefangen, nur deutsche Bücher zu lesen. Ich dachte, dadurch würde ich nach einer Weile meine Sprachkenntnisse auf jeden Fall verbessern. Beispielsweise, solange ich das regelmäßig mache, hat meine Sprachkenntnisse keine andere Optionen, als sich zu verbessern. Ich glaubte, ich müsste nur viel lesen und dann könnte ich irgendwann voll fließend Deutsch sprechen.
Seit zweieinhalb Jahren habe ich vielleicht dreißig oder so Bücher gelesen und jetzt verstehe ich ungefähr 95% des Inhalts der Bücher aber natürlich hängt dieser Nummer davon ab, was genau ich lese. Aber sogar vor kurzem fand ich mit Die unerträgliche Leichtigkeit des Seins von Milan Kudera, ein Buch, das ich vor zwei Jahren wirklich nur sehr wenig davon gegriffen konnte, kann ich jetzt ziemlich gut verstehen. Das was ich nicht sofort verstehen kann, während ich lese, kann ich meistens vom Kontext her ableiten. Am Anfang könnte ich dasselbe Wort vielleicht zwanzig mal sehen, ohne mich daran zu errinern, was es überhaupt bedeutet. Aber jetzt als ich daran denke, habe ich in letzer Zeit dieses frustrierende Gefühl nicht so ganz oft mehr gehabt.
Also ich glaube, dass, zwar lesen mir unbedingt geholfen hat. Aber jetzt, als ich mich immer darüber qäule, Forschritt bei meiner Sprachfähigkeiten zu merken, glaube ich nun dass, ich endlich ein bisschen etwas aktiveres machen muss, um echten Fortschritt wieder zu verwirklichen. Deswegen versuche ich mittlerweile mehr auf Schreiben zu fokusieren und nicht so viel Zeit mit Lesen zu verbringen. Am Ende möchte ich vor allem nur in der Lage sein, meine Meinung zu komplexen Themen auf einer tieferen Art und Weise mitzuteilen – durch Sprechen. Ich denke auch dass, Deutsch nicht nur als eine geprochene Sprache unbedingt schöner als Englisch klingt, sondern es ist auch als eine geschriebene Sprache viel ausdrucksstarker und präzieser als Englisch.

die Hitze
Etwas, das ich hasse an der Hitze, ist, dass ich nicht im Bett bleiben kann.
Ich habe auch meine Familie gefragt:
Mein Bruder hasst zu schwitzen.
Mein Onkel hasst es nicht, wie seltsam. Er trinkt gern ein Bier, bei heißem Wetter.

Wie viele neue Wörter muss man jeden Tag lernen?
Ursprünglich habe ich ungefähr von 10 bis 15 neue deutsche Wörter pro Tag entdeckt. Allerdings bin ich seit Kurzem ein bisschen überfordert, weil die Zahl von den Wörter, die ich jeden Tag in meinen Anki-App wiederholen muss, erhöht sich ständig. Heute habe ich über sechzig Wörter wiedergeholt, und mit hat es nicht so gut gefallen. Deshalb habe ich entschieden, dass ich zukünftig nicht mehr als 6 oder 7 neue Wörter pro Tag lernen werde. Es muss nicht so schwierig sein, weil ich nur diejenigen Wörter lernen werde, die ich nicht aus dem Kontext erraten kann.
Übrigens habe ich gestern angefangen, eine neue Serie anzuschauen. Die "Adolescence" heißt. Um ehrlich zu sein war ich ein bisschen skeptisch, aber gestern habe ich die erste Folge angesehen und es war ziemlich gut! Es gibt nur eine Staffel mit vier Folgen. Am meistens habe ich die Kameraarbeit genossen!

美容院
昨日はGreat Clipsという美容院に行きました。そこに行った前に、サイトでチェックインしておきました。美容院にすぐに着いて、窓に貼り付けてある看板に気がづきました。「支払いは現金のみになります。ご不便をおかけてして申し訳ございません。」と書いてありました。僕は全然現金を持ち合わせていません。理由はアメリカではほとんどどこでもクレジットカードは受け取るし、泥棒に財布を盗まれれば現金がないので何も買えないからです。もちろん、財布にクレジットカードが入っていますけど、すぐに財布がなくなることに気がづいてからカードをロックできます。しかし、その瞬間に「現金を持ち合わせばよかった。まあ、しょうがないね。」と思っていました。美容院に入って、スタッフにキャンセル待ち名簿から取り除いてもらうのをお願いしました。今日はもう一度Great Clipsに行って、現金を持ち合わせました。今回、看板はなくなりました。クレジットカード決済は働いていたはずです。
そういえば、しばらく前に父にチェックイン仕方を見せてあげました。父にも「あそこで待たないで済むよ。僕はチェックインしておくたびに、順番を待ちながら買い物に行ったり、家事をしたり、ゲームをしたりすることができる。とても便利だよ！」と言いました。

VCR
During the trip to Hong Kong around 2010, the tourist group I was in was led to a video recorder store by our tour guide.
The head of the shop let us sit down. We were led to a room. It was like a small classroom with around thirty seats. On the front wall of the room, there was a big screen.
After we were seated, the head greeted us and spoke to us in a very engaging manner. His assistant was recording the scene while he was doing this.
Afterwards, the head connected the recorder to the screen and played the entire recording of our interaction. There were a few close - up shots that were very wonderful, which attracted several tourists to buy their VCRs. I was one of them. It was the only expensive item I bought on that trip, around 2600 RMB.
The brand of the VCR is 禄来 in Chinese. I don’t know its English name, not to mention whether or not the brand is famous.
Despite being excited about my new purchase, little did I know that its time with me would be relatively short. I used it a few times during my travels. One day a few years later when I thought of it, I couldn’t find it - I don’t know when, where or how it was lost.
Looking back on that purchase now, I can’t help but notice how much the world of photography and videography has changed. It was a little ridiculous to buy a VCR from my current perspective because mobile phones nowadays are much better than VCRs in the past.
It’s very rare to see people taking videos using a VCR. Instead, they use their phones to take photos and videos all the time.
The shop head had a knack for persuasion. He spoke with such enthusiasm and confidence, highlighting the unique features of the VCR in a way that made it seem indispensable. He demonstrated how easy it was to use, and the assistant’s flawless recording of our interaction was the icing on the cake. His words were like a charm, slowly but surely breaking down my defenses and making me believe that this VCR was exactly what I needed. I couldn’t resist the temptation and eventually bought one.

I’m totally hooked—I basically see myself as their god, creating their entire community.
Recently, I gave birth to ten grandkids in the Lu family (yes, I made it happen).
Honestly, I’m super proud of building such a strong, chaotic dynasty.

Lo que me inspiró a jugar videojuegos en español
Siempre me han gustado los videojuegos, y algunos de mis favoritos géneros usualmente contienen mucho texto, como juegos de aventura y juegos de rol. Empecé a aprender español hace casi 4 años, y después de aprender los fundamentales, quería leer más en español para ampliar mi vocabulario. Empecé a leer libros infantiles, como La telaraña de Carlota y Harry Potter, y buscaba y anotaba todas las palabras infamiliares para estudiarlas. También estaba jugando videojuegos en mi tiempo libre durante este periodo, pero en inglés en vez de en español.
Un día, hablaba con un amigo de Polonia, y estábamos charlando del aprendizaje de idiomas. Mi amigo polanco habla inglés muy bien, y me dijo que lo aprendió por jugar a Final Fantasy VII en inglés muchas veces en su niñez. En aquella época, no había muchas traducciones al polaco, y tuvo que aprender inglés para disfrutar su pasatiempo preferido. Hoy en día, es más común encontrar traducciones para muchos idiomas, incluso el español. Esa noche, cambié el idioma de mi Nintendo Switch al español, y de repente todos los juegos que tenía estaban en español también. Desde entonces, he leído una cantidad de texto igual al varios libros, jugando juegos ricos en texto como Dragon Quest, Zelda y Metroid Prime. He jugado varios juegos de aventura en español también, como Phoenix Wright, Grim Fandango y The Curse of the Golden Idol. ¡Es un método muy divertido de aprender un idioma si eres un gamer como yo! Le doy las gracias a mi amigo por darme esta idea.
