Schwerkraft
Es ist nicht einfach für mich, mir nur einen einzigen Film oder eine einzige Serie auszusuchen. Ich bin ein großer Kinoenthusiast und habe viele beliebte Filme auf meiner Liste. Aber, mal angenommen, ich müsste jemandem um jeden Preis nur einen empfehlen. Nun ja, auch dann hätte ich viele Möglichkeiten (haha). Sprechen wir aber über Gravity. Hast Du schon mal diesen Film gesehen? Ich werde versuchen, mit meinen eigenen Wörtern darüber zu schreiben, ohne das Ende und die Wendepunkte zu verraten.
Also, obwohl der Film als Sci-Fi beschreibt wurde, ist es viel mehr als nur das. Es geht nicht nur um ein Abenteuer außerhalb der Erde, mit allen Schwierigkeiten, die entstehen können. Es geht um den Sinn des Lebens. Es geht auch um die Motivation, die man hat oder nicht hat, um weiterzuleben. Und es geht um Hoffnung. Ich kann mich nicht an diesen Film erinnern, ohne Gänsehaut zu bekommen. Er hat mich sehr berührt und ich konnte nicht umhin zu weinen, jedes Mal, wenn ich ihn gesehen habe. Nun ja, nur weil ein Film einen zum Weinen bringt, heißt das noch lange nicht, dass er ein guter Film ist. Aber Gravity ist beides: Er ist ein guter Film, der mich auch zum Weinen gebracht hat. Aber nicht wegen Szene, die Klischee sind. Um ehrlich zu sagen, frage ich mich, ob es viele andere Menschen gibt, die bei diesem Film geweint haben. Vielleicht nur ich? Ich muss zugeben, dass ich besonders empfindlich bin, aber das hängt natürlich von vielen Faktoren ab.
Nun ja, ich erinnere mich an den Namen der Hauptcharaktere nicht, aber das ist nicht wichtig. Hauptsache ist, dass man manchmal keine Kraft mehr hat, um um etwas zu kämpfen. Aber im Laufe des Lebens lernt man einige Menschen kennen, die uns auf die eine oder die andere Weise uns helfen, ein neues Licht zu sehen oder eine andere Denkweisen zu haben. Mehr möchte ich nicht darüber erzählen. Wenn Du diesen Film noch nie gesehen hast, verschwende keine Zeit mehr und geh ihn ansehen! Ich kann ihn Dir nur wärmstens empfehlen.

¿Cuál es tu programa de televisión favorito?
Era una mentira cuando les dicho a ustedes que no puedo escribir hoy. Entonces, voy a contarles sobre el programa que estoy mirando recientemente que se llama 'What We Do in the Shadows' o 'Qué hacemos en las sombras'. O sea, mi programa favorito ahora mismo.
Es hecho por el director Taika Waititi. Quizás conoces a él por la película del mismo nombre o 'Thor: Ragnarok'.
WWDITS es un documentario falso que sigue un grupo de vampiros en Staten Island, Nueva York en la epoca moderna. Los cameramen les acompañan a los vampiros durante sus vidas diarias ¡o nocturnas deberíamos decir!
Los vampiros se llaman El Gran Nandor, Lazlo, Nadja y Colin Robinson. Viven en una casa grande y vieja con el familiar de Nandor, Guillermo (No sé cómo se traduce 'familiar' en este contexto... ¿un sirviente?). Guillermo le ha servido a Nandor por diez años y quiere mucho ser vampiro también pero Nandor no le cambiará porque necesita su servicio.
La mayoría de los vampiros son góticas y llevan puesto ropa negra con diseños detallados. Se parecen fresas pero se ven muy extraños en el día actual. Pero a nadie no parece le importa este hecho. Quizás es algo hacer con sus habilidades paranormales y hipnóticas.
Un personaje que no parece misterioso es Colin Robinson. Colin es un vampiro de energía. Le ve un tipo típico que vería en una oficina. Él habla de temas aburridos por un tiempo largo. Él alimenta por desagüe tú energía y disfruta tu miseria también.
Te recomiendo este programa. Es chistoso ¡y es otro trabajo buenísimo de Taika!

Shrek
(Before start, I didn't learned about gramatical rules, I know that I should to do it soon. This probably has many errors, but I'm trying to do it better).
The first movie of Shrek is one of my favorites. It was so simple, funny and breaking stereotypes. During my childhood I watched many times princess movies where the delicately and poor princcess find the "true eternal love" with a refined and educated prince. Barbies movie's are a good example of this. Instead Shrek isn't a prince, he is a lonely and sentimental ogre that falls in love with an unusual princess.
I know that probably there is a lot of better examples about" how to break a stereotype", but as a child it was maybe the first time I watched something that impacted me so much.
Fiona is a realistic woman for me, instead of a perfect princess. She can protect herself, fight. She has good manners but also enjoy to be more comfortable and less refinated (burping or eating rats, for example). She can feel angry, uncomfortable, disagree and reflect about her actions. For example, when she heard the conversation of Shrek with Burro (Donkey I guess, I don't know what is his name in English) about people criticizing and stigmatizing him because he's an ogre. Then she regrets, reflecting about her words, trying to be better after that.
Shrek is so asocial in the beginning because of the world, I know and understand that feeling.
The "terrible and ugly ogre" have feelings, this fact changes your perspective and give you a good lesson: Don't judge someone just for it's appearance. Shrek loved Fiona not because "is a princess", he met her better, falling in love because he really liked how was she.
Fiona grow alone in a tower, waiting for a magical love of fairytales. She didn't excluded Shrek because "he isn't a prince", she loved him even knowing he is an ogre and that she will stay as an ogre.
They teached me something that I didn't realized for a long time. True love isn't perfect, you don't need a perfect fairytale in real life to be happy. Happiness is what matters, not be a perfect person in couple with another perfect person. It's more important enjoy your life that be what people wants to.
Burro (donkey I guess), is a good friend. He's always trying to be nice, smiling and being funny. But he also can be angry, serious, sad and miss someone. Burro encouraged Shrek to don't give up with Fiona. That's a good example about how is a genuine friend, someone who honestly cares and helps you in difficult moments.
So, for all these reasons I love this movie. I admit that I'm not a cinephile, usually is disgusting for me watch a movie. Shrek is a big exception in my life.
Thanks for your time, I hope to did it better this time. I feel really ashamed and clumsy thinking about how many errors I have again, but it's part of learning.

The Favourite Movie
Note: The journal is aiming for a formal tone.
No week goes by without me watching a movie. There are periods in which I watch movies more often and other times when I forget about them because I am occupied with work. Sometimes after watching a movie, I feel bad for the time I could have spent more wisely. However, they helped me improve my English substantially. I even watched some of them multiple times, for example, the series of Harry Potter films.
They are based on books written by J. K. Rowling. The first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was published in 1997. Since then, more than 500 million copies of these books have been sold, making it the best-selling book series in history. It has been translated into more than 80 languages making it popular all around the world.
The main character is Harry Potter—a young wizard. He and his friends attend a wizarding school learning everything about witchcraft and wizardry. Throughout the series, they experience the return of the dark wizard, Lord Voldemort, against whom and his followers they are trying to fight.
The wizarding world in both books and films gained lots of fans throughout the years and does not seem to be getting any less popular. Some people like books more because the story is more detailed. On the other hand, the films provide a lively experience. Even though everybody has their preference, I can recommend both.

Meu filme preferido
Eu gosto muito de séries sobre temas histoicais ou de fantasia porque eu acho que é divertido imaginar que você está vivendo num mundo totalmente differente. Eu acho que é dificíl dizer o que está minha séries preferida mas acho que é Vikings. Na minha opinião a série é mais accurata do que outras séries sobre os vikings. Então eu gosto muita da musica, das roupas e quando eles falam um pouco nórdico. As cenas de luta são muito boas também e eu gosto da historia no meior parte. ( os atores sâo attrativos também...)
Meu filme preferido é Shrek 2 porque ele me lembro da minha infancia porque eu amava esse filme no passado até agora. Eu acho que a mensagem e muito boa e os memes são bons também. Normalmente eu nao gosto quando as pessoas começam a cantar em filmes mas a cena de “I need a hero” é muito boa.

5/30 Phone Booth
Oggi devo scrivere sul mio film preferito. È un film in cui succede tutto in intorno a una cabina telefonica in una strada di New York
È un film dal 2003. Il film comincia con un agente pubblicitario, Stu (Stuart) Sheppard e il suo assistente, facendo delle telefonate, dicendo bugie per fare i suoi clienti felici, Stu sembra essere una persona importante e felice e ricca. Poi entra in una cabina telefonica per telefonare la sua amante. E quando finisce la telefonata, suona il telefono, Stu risponde e sente un uomo dire "non è interessante? suona il telefono e potrebbe essere chiunque. Però quando suona un telefono, devi rispondere". Ricordo la prima volta che ho guardato questo film con dieci anni, e l'ho guardato circa otto volte, non esagero. Mi piace tantissimo.
E quello che mi piace di più è il fatto che tutto succede intorno a una cabina telefonica, non avevo mai visto una cosa del genere. Mi piacciono anche chi lavora lì. Collin Farrell (stu), Keifer Sutherland (Quella voce al telefono), Forest Whithaker (Il polizzioto)... e tutti fanno un bellissimo lavoro.

Play Table Tennis.
My favorite spot is ping pong. The first time I knew of ping pong was in middle school. I remember that there was a cement ping pong table in front of my classroom. I often played ping pong when I got out of class. Because all of the living conditions were bad back then, we didn't have a professional table tennis bat, the ball net was just a row of bricks. Sometimes, we didn't even have a plank. We had to use our textbook as a bat to play it. I learned about how to play table tennis at that time. Later on, I went to a professional secondary school, where I could play table tennis very often. Therefore, my ball skills improved a lot. Since I attended work, it was not easy to find a place to play table tennis, so I rarely played it since then. Although I almost don't have a chance to play table tennis, I think my ball skill level doesn't drop a lot. If I have a chance, I think I can still play it well.
At the end of this passage, I'd like to share with your guys two ways to fix a flatted ball. One method is to put a ball in boiling water, and then it will become spherical shape by itself again. The other method is to use the back of a table tennis bat, slowly and carefully to squeeze the surface of the ball to fix it. But this method can only be used to fix a ball that has slight problems. If a ball is flat a lot, this method probably doesn't work.

Better Days (no spoilers) Day 5
It is not really my favorite movie, it is better to define this movie as the one touched my heart and made me feel all sadness and despair. Original name of the movie is Shao Nian De Ni but mostly known as Better Days. There is an IMDB link https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9586294/
This movie is about a girl who she had been bullied by classmates and a boy who he is alone by himself at young age. They found each other in the despair and try to help each other. The story of two are touched my hearth and I never couldn't blame to the girl what she had done. The sadness about this movie is the struggling that she was tried to do her best. But this was never enough.

5.4.1.: Ma série télé préféré
J’aime bien regarder des séries télé et il y en a beaucoup qu’ils me plaisent : Breaking Bad, Lucifer, The Mentalist, House MD, etc. Mais une série m’a vraiment impressionné : Dark. Dark est une série allemande. Il s’agit d’une histoire de voyage dans le temps et des univers parallèles. L’histoire est très déconcertante et en regardant, on est constamment perplexe. En fait, ce n’est pas trop amusant de regarder cette série, parce que, bon, comme le titre le suggère, l’atmosphère est vraiment sombre et personne n’est heureux. Mais à la fin, l'histoire a un sens et la série s'avère être un chef-d'œuvre absolu. La question plus importante n’est pas « Où est Mikkel ?» mais « Quand est Mikkel ? » . Regardez la série et vous comprendrez.

הסדרתים אהובים שלי נמצאים בנטפליקס, למשל "פאודה", "שטיסל" ו-"סורוגים. בגלל שלסדרתים האלה יש אודיו בעברית וכתוביות באנגלית, אני יכולה ליהינות מהן למען הסיפור בזמן ללמוד עברית. אני גם נהנת סדרתים היסטוריים. לא משנה לי אם סדרת עושה כמה טעויות בעובדות כל עוד שהסיפור מציג בעיקר האמת.

Che tipo di alloggio preferisci quando viaggi?
Preferisco abitare a un albergo che sia vicino a alcuno sistema di transporto (p.e. un autobus o la metropolitana). Inoltre, considero che è molto importante che il hotel abbia buone rassegne, perché cose simili mi dicono le condizioni delle stanze.
Voglio godere della mia permanenza ogni volta che viaggio. Investo molto tempo e molti soldi, quindi sarei arrabbiato se dovessi vivere in una gabbia durante la mia vacazione.

5. Mina favorit-tv-program (1)
Okay så jag gjorde ett djup-dyk i min tv-lista och jag kommer att prata om flera serier, men inte alla här. Klockan är ganska sent därför tror jag att jag kan bara hinna att prata om en serie.
Vi börjar med The 100. I grund och botten handlar den om att gå tillbaka till jordplaneten hundra år efter en apokalyps. Det här är sammanfattningen:
Efter en apokalyps provocerade av männen under det tredje världskriget, de 318 inspelade överlevandena tar tillflykt i rymdstationer och lyckas leva och reproducera till de når antalet 4000. Men ett hundra år senare är moderfartyget i ett dåligt tillstånd. Hundra unga brottslingar som fängslats genom åren för brott eller svek mot lagarna väljs som marsvin av myndigheterna för att komma tillbaka ner till jorden or testa chanserna att överleva. Så snart som de anländer upptäcker de att jorden är en fascinerande men farlig ny värld.
Genrerna är aktion, drama, dystopi, post-apokalyptisk och science-fiction. Det finns lite romans och vi har homosexuella relationer. Jag älskar den här serien eftersom det är lite som jag föreställer mig att jorden ska vara efter en apokalyps. Ingen litar på ingen och det finns många olika grupper med deras egna lagar. De har primitiva vapen och tro.
Fandomen är stor och även om serien blir lite dålig är det fortfarande bra. Jag kan fortfarande komma ihåg av mina favoriter ”feel” stunder av serien, som till exempel när Lexi blev dödad.
Hur som helst, en jättebra serie.

La comida
¿Cuál es mi comida favorita? No lo sé. Como mucha comida diferente, por ejemplo, pasta, ramen y arroz con curry. Disfruto comer buena comida y probar nueva comida. Sólo sé lo que no me gusta y no puedo comer.
Lo que menos me gusta es las coles de Bruselas. Me gusta mucho la verdura, pero las coles de Bruselas son demasiado amargas. Creí que fui mi mamá no entender como las cocinar, pero me equivoqué. Todo tiempo necesito beber mucha agua cuando las comiendo.

Dauert eine Sommerliebe lang?
Juliana hat einen Typ auf der Urlaub nach Mallorca kennengelernt. Sie waren Gäste desselben Hostels. Am Anfang haben sie nur Blicke wahrend des Frühstücks ausgetauscht, aber eines Tages hat Mario sie angesprochen und das war der Beginn alles. Es waren drei Wochen voller Freude. Am Ende war Mario sehr traurig, weil er wusste, dass sie sich trennen würden. Juliana lebt in Lyon und er in Oslo. Ihr war es aber nichts mehr als eine Sommer-Affäre, weshalb es sie ganz egal war, ob sie irgendwann wieder treffen werden oder nicht. Du armer Mario! Durch diese Erfahrung hat er gelernt, dass sich man den Unterschied zwischen einem seriösen Treffen und einem Techtelmechtel bewusst sein soll.

Es würde sehr hilfreich sein, wenn irgendwer mir damit helfen kann! Man musst die Frage in der Link nicht lesen, es ist nur da, um hilfreich zu sein, wenn nötig.
"Für mich gibt es viele interessante Ergebnisse der Grafik. Zunächst sieht man, dass echt viele Leute Umweltschutz als sehr wichtig schätzen. Das zweite interessante Ergebnis der Grafik ist, dass nur sehr wenige Leute es schaffen, wichtiger oder ergebnisvoller Tätigkeiten zu unternehmen, um die Umwelt zu schützen, vielleicht da sie nicht so bequem und einfach zu erledigen sind. Durch dieser Grafik finden wir heraus, dass die meisten Leute nur handeln, wenn es für sich profitable ist. Individuellen Handlungen sind deutlich sehr wichtig für Umweltschutz. Die Grafik zeigt uns, dass die Meinungen der Bürgern viele Einflüsse auf Umweltschutz hat.
Persönlich finde ich sehr wichtig, Produkte zu vermeiden, die zu viele Ressourcen zu herstellen brauchen. Zum Beispiel ist rotes Fleisch sehr Wasserintensiv. Es ist auch sehr wichtig, mit Politik zu beschäftigen. Nur so können wir die Vor- und Nachteile verschiedenen Produkten ändern, sodass sie mit den Interessen des Individuelles und der Umwelt synchronisiert sind. Deshalb sollten mehr Privatleute aktiver in politischem Leben werden, aber sie müssen auch Umweltfreundlich bleiben, wenn es sie etwas kostet oder nicht profitable ist. Die Staat hat auch eine wichtige Rolle, insoweit dass sie die Steuern verschiedenen Produkten ändern kann, sodass die Kosten ihre Beschädigung der Umwelt auch beinhaltet sind. Endlich könnten andere Institutionen an ihre Einflüsse ihrer Umgebung rücksichtlicher werden. Zum Beispiel könnten sie nur umweltfreundliche Produkte in ihren Gebäuden bieten.
In meinem eigenen Heimatland ist Umweltschutz nicht überall akzeptiert. Umweltschützende Maßnahmen sind sehr spannend. Einerseits finden viele Leute solche Maßnahmen sehr wichtig einzuführen, aber andererseits gibt es immer noch viele Leute, die total gegen Umweltschutz bleiben. Laut solche Leute ist die Wirtschaft viel wichtiger als Umweltschutzmaßnahmen. Meiner Meinung nach sind die beide Ziele immer sehr eng zusammenverbindet und nicht getrennt werden können."

映画を見ましょう！
「最も好きな映画は何ですか？」という質問を聞くと困ります。新しいドラマやアニメを見るとたん、「お気に入りのドラマだよ」と思います。決めることは出来ません。だから、このテキストは最近見た映画の話であります。
最近見たドラマは聞いたことがよくありましたネットフリックスの「クーインズ・ギャンビット」です。私はチェスを遊ぶのが好きだし、女性とフェミニストとして女性のキャラクターは見たかったから、この映画を見る予定がありました。冬休みは彼氏の両親の家に泊まって、彼らはネットフリックスに参加しているから、見たいドラマを探し「クーインズ・ギャンビット」のトレーラーを見たとたん私は「見たい！」と叫びだしました。主人公はカッコいいチェスの天才ベス・ハーモンであります。母が死んでしまった子供の頃から彼女の生命が現れています。
残念なことに、この話は本当ではありません。作家を教え込んだ本当のチェス王者は男性です。チェスの世界は、今まで、女性差別があります。原書の小説の作家は女性のキャラクターを作ったことはありがたいです。全部の映画の主人公の大半は白人の男性ですので、女の子と白人ではない子供たちは強いキャラクターのお手本がないです。私は大人になると気づきました。
女性の主人公を言うと、スタジオジブリの映画を思い浮かべました。育てるとき、ジブリと宮崎駿の映画をたくさん観ました。全部大好きだと思って、選ぶのはつらいですよ！「風立ちぬ」や「風の谷のナウシカ」や「もののけ姫」は絶品だと思いますが、悲しい舞台があるから、いつでも観たい最も好きな映画だと言えません。いつでも観たいジブリの映画は、たぶん、「崖の上野ポニョ」や「紅の豚」です。面白い映画で嬉しくなります。景色は美しくて微妙だから、見ると描きたいんです。「魔女の宅急便」と「となりのトトロ」もたくさん見たことがあります。この映画について話したから、今ジブリの映画を見たくなりました！(字幕なし日本語で観るから勉強ですよね(笑))
でも、ジブリの映画を見る前に奇妙な思いがあります。「この映画はつまんない…見たくない」と思っても、映画を見ると、とても楽しいです。毎回見たくなくても、映画を見るのは楽しくなります。
素晴らしい映画であれば、数回に同じ映画を見るのは問題ではなくて、今日は「崖の上のポニョ」を見たいです。ポニョは女の子見たい海の生き物で、そうすけの五歳の少年を出会います。ポニョは人間になりたいから女の子の「お父さん」はイライラしています。他のジブリの映画と同じ、大人になるの話だと思います。私の伯父に取ってこの映画の最も素敵な舞台は波の上に走るポニョの舞台です。私もこの舞台が好きで、嵐の雰囲気は息を呑むほどです(「おおかみこどもの雨と雪」と同じく)。実は、高校生の時、短編小説を書き初めて、ポニョの雰囲気からインスパイアされました。

Впечатления о Китае
Около года назад я начала работать репетитором для китайской компании. Это частичная занятость где преподаю английский язык только один-два часа в неделю. К сожалению, у нас большая разница во времени, поэтому мне всегда сложно разработать график, но я всё-таки получаю удовольствие от преподавания, и меня интересуют культурные различия между Китаем и Америкой.
Первая вещь, которую я заметила – это коллективизм. Мне кажется, что в Европе и особенно в Америке у нас сильное чувство индивидуализма, которые ассоциируется со свободой (и также капитализмом, наверное). Бабушки и дедушки редко воспитывают внуков, дети уезжает из дома в возрасте 18-19 лет и нет такое чувство, что решения одного человека могут разрушать или восстанавливать честь семьи. Насколько я знаю, это по-разному в Китае и в других частях Азии. Молодёжь аналогично должен относить к своих старших с уважением. Это проявляется также в отношение к здоровью. Многие китайцы учатся в моим университете и даже перед пандемией, я отметила, что они часто носили маски, когда болели. Это показывает чувство социальной ответственности и идею о том, что каждый обязан думать о здоровье целого сообщества. В Америке, впрочем, люди так непреклонны в желании осуществлять индивидуальные права, что откажутся от масок даже посреди пандемии.
Я бы также добавила, что население Китая – первое на планете, и у них очень древняя культура. Традиционная медицина довольно развита, и американцы в последнее время заинтересуются китайскими методами лечениями и буддийской философией. Панды, Великая Китайская стена и палочки для еды сразу ассоциируются со страной. Тем не менее, мой папа часто ездил в Китай в командировке перед пандемией, и он сказал, что настоящая китайская еда сильно отличается от американских вариантов этой еды. Блюда в Китае, по его словам, бывают более жирными, тогда как американские версии более легкие.
Напоследок, мне кажется, что китайский язык очень сложный для иностранцев. На звуках всё построено, поэтому будет легче для тех, у которого хороший музыкальный слух. Но если тебе медведь на ухо наступил, будет затруднительно отличать звуки и слова. В дополнение к этому, письменный язык совсем не похож на русский алфавит. Насколько мне известно, единственная простая часть языка – грамматика. Многим в США хотелось бы изучать китайский, но оказывается столь сложным, что большинство сразу же опускают руки.
Хотя язык сложный, Китай мне кажется замечательной страной, и мне бы хотелось когда-нибудь туда съездить!

Augur - do you want to predict your future?
To avoid a fear of the future and the uncertainty associated with it, we try to predict and control our lives. To reflect on those aspirations, I developed the Augur. It is an experimental project that combines two different approaches dealing with the future. The first one is rational. It involves predictive analytics with big data, statistical algorithms, and machine learning techniques to identify the likelihood of future outcomes. The second one, on the contrary, is mystical. It arises from the art of fuzzy interpreting tarot cards aiming to read one’s destined fate. By applying these two approaches, Augur invites its users to explore the boundaries between rational and mystical in future predictions and how we try to control our lives.
Concept
While researching possible topics for projects, I became interested in the topic of future predictions and the fear connected with this. I found several compelling concepts on that. Some of them were rather straightforwardly rational such as predictive analytics; others had to do with arcane arts of fate reading by tarot cards or astrology, once again popular today. Yet, the most compelling for me were those concepts that pointed out unusual connections between the opposed ways of future predictions. For instance, I became interested in persuasive computing, a concept about irrational power we grant to computers that influences our decisions in turn. Or risk society, a sociological theory that describes modern societies as those that have traded rational material progress for the security of risk-avoiding. Those ideas brought me to the project’s concept of connecting seemingly incompatible opposites - rational calculations and irrational fate reading - and showing how they are connected through the mutual fear of the future.
Designing process
According to those ideas, I drafted a product concept, an arcane machine for future predictions by means of tarot cards and modern analytic tools. I called it Augur after interpreters of the divine will in Ancient Rome. As augurs in the ancient time, it’s supposed to take into account bad and good omens (yet, in the form of tarot cards in our case) and translate them into a lay language as suggestions for particular actions (yet, with the help of modern analytics on extensive user data).
An initial version of the Augur looked quite simple as a product landing page but was intended for a wide variety of purposes, from romantic relationships to career decisions. Yet, in the course of further work on the project by developing user scenarios, I realized that it’s much better to concentrate the product on a particular set of issues and chose the work-related context. Also, I understood how vital the physical part of interactions with the Augur is for conveying an arcane experience for users and tried to emphasize it in the final version of the product.
An additional project in the course
It should be noted that before moving on to the main project described above, we first received a warm-up assignment to create a visual system synchronizing various calendars. It was a pretty challenging yet interesting task from the design perspective since different calendars are often based on entirely distinct principles with their own counting units for years, months, days, etc.
I undertook this task together with my colleague. We researched a number of calendar systems but chose only three of them: the modern Gregorian as a point of reference, and the Chinese as well the Islamic as the most distant from the modern one as well as from each other. Our idea was to create an interface that synchronized all the calendars by the beginning of a year, a month, and a day. In this way, we tried to create a symbolic triangulation of the time and show a relative character of each calendar’s system for our users.

Filme
Es fällt mir schwer, einen Lieblingsfilm auszuwählen. Ich kann jedoch zwei Regisseuren sagen, deren Arbeit mich stark beeinflusst hat, einen sehr berühmten und einen nicht so sehr, Christopher Nolan und Shane Carruth. Nolans Filme sind tiefsinnig und schwer zu verstehen, aber ich liebe sie. Insbesondere Interstellar, es ist einer meiner Favoriten, wahrscheinlich weil es ein gut recherchierter Film mit Physik ist. Mein Physiklehrer an der Studium nahm sogar einige der Schüler mit, um den Film ins Kino anzusehen. Carruth ist ein anderer, dessen Arbeit tiefsinnig ist. Ich hab aufgehört mitzuzählen, wie oft ich Primer und Upstream Color gesehen habe, und jedes Mal scheine ich etwas Neues zu entdecken, was wirklich erstaunlich ist. Einige der Serien, die ich mag, sind True Detective (nur die erste Staffel), Sense8 und Touch. Ich habe auch kürzlich Amazons wunderbare Serie Tales from the Loop entdeckt und es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es basiert auf der atemberaubende Kunst des schwedischen Künstlers Simon Stalenhag. Wer glaubt, dass Science-Fiction nicht tiefsinnig oder existenziell sein kann, sollte sich diese Serie ansehen.

My preferences regarding TV shows or movies
Actually, I don’t watch TV or films very often. When I am in the mood of entertainment, I use digital platforms to select according to my preferences at that time. Usually, I watch documentaries about science or history. I like them because of the short length and every chapter is independent from the others. But I’m not going to lie, not everything is mental, sometimes I need to watch cartoons or game shows.
I don’t have much time, so I prefer not to be hooked to series.
Regarding to films, I prefer the not commercial ones because generally the dialogues and characters are more interesting. I guess this is because they don’t have a big budget for special effects so the focus must be in the story itself. Unfortunately, this year I have not visited many cinemas, because of the COVID. In my city some of these spaces have closed down. Who knows, maybe outdoors’s cinemas from the seventies will come back.
