Foreign Workers
I learned about foreign workers when I was university student because I wanted to know why they work in a country other than their birth country. What makes them do that? I was able to reach a conclusion. They go to work in a country other than their brith coutry to seize a great opportunity to earn money, especially Southeast Asian people.

Learning History
It has been fifteen years since I started studying English at an junior high school. When I became interested in writing and speaking English is just one year ago. Sometimes I regret that I hadn't pay any attention on improving such skills even though I had a lot of opportunities to talk with English native speakers. However, a bunch of vocabulary and some grammatical knowledge I have accumulated help me learn English more efficiently.
Nowadays, children are supposed to start learning English from elementary schools. In addition, current curriculum focus on conversation skills. I need to keep studying hard not to be left behind by teenagers.

Swimming
In an effort to create a healtier, I used to swim at a swiming pool near my house.
I have practiced more than 7 years but I am not fast enough.
It is because I focused on practicing not speed but distance.
I used to swim 300 meters per each term and I tried to do 5 terms a day.
After I was able to swim more than 500 meters, I didn’t feel worry anymore and I could swim longer.
By the way, I don’t think anything but just focus swimming while doing it.
It seems like meditating in water.
When finishing it, I can release my stress and don't feel presures by heavy work

Warum ich Deutsch lerne
Ich lerne Deutsch seit mehr oder weniger zwei Jahren. Ich hatte schon als Teenager ein bisschen die Sprache gelernt aber es war nicht zu ernst. In den letzten Jahre war ich mehr motiviert, weil DAAD meine Uni besuchte hat und es bracht mich dazu nachdenken, dass es vielleicht möglich wäre in Zukunft in Deutschland zu studieren. Es gibt natürlich tolle Forschgruppen in Deutschland für Physik und ich weiß schon von ein paar Leute, mit wem ich gerne meinen PhD machen würde. Außerdem, interessiere ich mich sehr für die deutsche Kultur. Viele meinen Lieblingsfilmen sind deutsche, wie "Der Himmel über Berlin", "Das Leben der Anderen" und "Lola Rennt". Im Anfang fand ich die Sprache schwer, "Deutsch Sprache schwierige Sprache", wie manche sagen, aber ich würde mich immer an einen anderen Redewendung erinnern, nämlich: "Aller Anfang ist schwer". Ich glaube, ich kann heute ein bisschen besser lesen, schreiben und so weiter.

1. Hur länge har jag studerat mitt målspråk och varför?
* Berätta om dina strider du har mött när du lär dig ditt målspråk och vad du tyckte var lätt. Expandera gärna med dina mål för språket och hur du ser dig själv använda det under de kommande åren.
Jag har studerat svenska i ett år nu. Jag började spela med appen Duolingo i juni 2019 men det var bara i mars 2020, när jag började SFI, att jag blev seriöst med språket. Jag tror att jag har gjort goda framsteg snabbt och jag är tacksam för hur Sverige gör det enkelt för invandrar att lära sig svenska.
Jag studerar svenska eftersom jag bor i Sverige. Jag flyttade hit i juni 2019 för att bo med min svenska partner. Jag träffade honom när vi både bodde i Athene, Grekland. Han ville gå tillbaka hem och frågade mig att följa honom, och jag gjorde just det. Det är viktigt att kunna tala svenska eftersom jag är översättare och jag vill lägga till svenska till min båge. Det är också viktigt att visa de svenska människorna att man försöker integrera sig i det svenska samhället.
Jag är bra med att memorera saker och ting, och att lära mig verbformerna var enkelt enligt mig. Vad som är tufft är grammatiken. Grammatiken är alltid den svåraste saken i alla språken. Jag hatar den omvänd ordföljd till exempel, och särskilt när det finns en negativ eller ett adverb i meningen.
Det enklaste i min åsikt är att skriva. Jag läser mycket därför har jag en bra vokabulär. Det svåraste är att prata. När min svenska lärare frågar mig något måste jag ta mycket tid för att leta efter och hitta mina ord. Jag måste öva mer hemma. Jag har tur att bo med två svenska men vi inte pratar svenska så mycket.
Mitt stora målet för juni är att kunna tala bra svenska, utan att ta för mycket tid för att fundera över mina meningar. Jag vill försöka prata svenska mer med min partner.
Och mitt mål för denna månad (april) är att skriva en lång text varje dag för utmaningen. Inte bara några meningar.
Jag är också tacksam för LangCorrect. Jag är helt saker att min svenska förbättrad på grund av webbsidan, på grund av skriva här varje dag.

1. ¿Cuánto tiempo has pasado estudiando tu idioma y Xq?
Voy a escribir con el apunte intermedio que me preguntó sobre las dificultades que he tenido, las cosas que he encontrado fáciles, sobre mis metas para el idioma y como me veo usarlo en los años que vienen.
Originalmente, empecé a aprender español en el año dos mil dieciséis. No sé por cuál razón quería aprender en ese tiempo pero usé Duolingo por cinco minutos cada día y... no aprendí nada. Nada útil. Yo sabía que 'queso' traduce al 'cheese' y que 'azúcar' traduce al 'sugar'. La app no era tan bueno durante esos días.
Recuerdo que estuve en el aeropuerto en Detroit y un guardo de seguridad me preguntó si hablo español y si puedo traducir por una mujer mayor. Debido por la app no me enseñó nada, dije que no y dejé de aprender español por casi cuatro años por la vergüenza.
Como muchos países el Reino Unido tuvo una cuarentena en el marzo de dos mil veinte. No pudimos salir de la casa y había mucho tiempo para hacer algo. Estuve determinado aprender español otra vez. Pasé casi tres horas cada día en Duolingo en el sitio web. Miré videos en Youtube y me uní a unos servidores de español e inglés de intercambios.
La parte más difícil para mí es la confianza. Tengo que recordar que ya no estoy la persona en el aeropuerto. A veces, si tengo un mal día en Duolingo... Tengo que recordar que estoy aprendiendo algo con cada error. También he tenido dificultad con llamadas de grupos con idiomas mezclados. Aún tengo miedo de hablar pero todos estamos en el mismo barco.
La cosa fácil es el facto que cosas ha vuelto más fáciles a través del viaje de aprendizaje. Puedo escribir esto con más confianza y puedo hablar incluso si tengo que usar palabras diferentes o describir unas palabras que no conozco. Puedo escuchar a un video en español sin subtítulos si el español es despacio y claro (¡Why Not Spanish es mi canal favorita!) Esto me da la esperanza para ganarme fluidez.
Mis metas por los años que vienen es obtener un nivel avanzado. Quiero tener un acento más natural (no me importa si aún sono que soy inglés pero quiero mejorar mi pronunciación) y quiero hablar y escuchar sin problemas. Mi meta grande es para usar español en un trabajo un día. Después ¡quiero aprender la lengua de signos estadounidense!

Ho già parlato di questo però voglio parlarne un altra volta.
Anzitutto, mi è sempre piaciuto l'italiano, è una lingua che ho sempre voluto imparare perché mi sembra una bellissima lingua è pensavo fosse interessante poter parlare l'italiano.
Come ho detto prima l'ho cominciato ad imparare sin dal lockdown, dopo guardare L'amica geniale.
Sinceramente, non so se finirò questo challenge, perché ho perso la voglia di scrivere ma voglio scrivere.

La deuxième tentative d'apprendre le français
Ça fait presque deux ans que j'ai essayé d'apprendre le français pour la première fois; en ce temps-là, j'habitais au Portugal avec ma copine, et un jour elle m'a dit qu'elle avait été acceptée dans une université en Belgique. Du coup, une décision a été prise, et on déménagerait dans un autre pays plus une fois. Il était aussi l'heure pour choisir lequel entre des deux langues du royaume serait plus facile à maîtriser: le français ou le flamande. Car je parlais déjà une autre langue roman avec un certain niveau de compétence, ça ne posait pas un grand dilemme: ce serait la langue de Voltaire.
À partir de là, je passais les temps morts au travail en essayant d'apprendre quelque chose sur Duolingo, et j'ai acquis quelques bases, mais pour être complètement honnête, j'aurais dû faire plus. Je me disais que sitôt on arriverait aux Bruxelles, j'aurais pris des cours ou quelque chose; mais ça n'est pas passé. J'étais de plus en plus fatigué avec mon boulot et il parait que la motivation m'échapperait, et j'avais quitté l'apprentissage pour un temps, aussi bien comme l'Europe d'Ouest, et je suis revenu à ma terre natale. Depuis, à cause de la pandémie, tous les plans ont été écartés; et malheureusement, je ne suis pas de retour à la civilisation jusqu'à aujourd'hui. J'espère encore qu'un jour ça se passera. Pour cette raison et un espoir têtu, j'ai recommencé mon aventure avec la langue, cette fois pour le serieux, en Décembre dernier.
Il est un peu difficile d'oublier tout dans un an. Je sais bien qu'est le challenge le plus haut pour moi, un obstacle qui paraît toujours presque insurmontable. Avant de conquérir la langue, il faut d'abord vainqueur mon lassitude et fainéantise, et alors conquérir moi-même.

Ma famille et moi en chocolaterie
Tout les années, nous allons en Košice à Slovakia, parce que mon père est né là-bas. Košice est la plus belle ville de Slovakia pour moi. il y a un cathedral vieux dans une rue grande, où les plus vieux magasins sont ici. Mais nous aimons le mieux une chocolaterie. C'est un petite magasin dans la rue reculée, mais c'est trés sympa. Il y a petites tables, petits fauteils et surtout le chocolat! Le chocolat pour boire, les tablettes se chocolat, les crêpes avec chocolat, lest petites figurines de chocolat... Tout ce qu tu peux penser. Ma mamie l'est allée avec mon frère, mes soeurs at moit et nou avons qu tellement de chocolat que nous n'avons pas voulu le chocolat voir le mois entier.

Learning English
It depends on what we mean by studying. I had the English subject since my third grade of elementary school. But it wasn't as though I would actively learn the language. We mostly learned grammar, so I wasn't much able to use the language. I got more enthusiastic about it once I started using it more during secondary school. I think that was the breaking point when I started actively practicing. Now it's my third year at university, and I'm writing my bachelor's thesis in English!
The biggest struggle occurred just before the breaking point in the first grade of secondary school. I read documentation or something related to programming, and I felt like I had to translate every other word. I have never been so frustrated about learning English. At that point, it was several years since I had started learning it at school, and yet, my abilities were so low. As I began using English substantially more, my skills improved quickly. Also, watching movies and TV series with English subtitles helped me a lot! Currently, I still struggle with my active knowledge. I can easily understand complex sentences with rich vocabulary, but I am unable to write these myself. That's my biggest goal that I'm trying to reach in learning English!

Language Challenge April Day 1
J'ai étudié le français au lycée pendant 4 ans. Au début, je me suis intéressé à la langue car dans mon école je devais choisir une langue de mon choix, mais je suis vite tombé amoureux de cette langue.
Puis, pendant des années, j'ai perdu la motivation d'apprendre le français mais alors que je me souviens des bases, j'ai des problèmes de grammaire, d'ordre des mots et de conjugaison qui m'amènent à faire de nombreuses erreurs honnêtes et comme je traduis tout sur Google. Dans tous les cas, je veux réapprendre cette langue et y être douée.

My language journey
My language journey started as many others people did - at school. In the begining english was a fun subject at which I was able to get good grades but as time went on grammar rules overwhelmed me to the point that I started hating the language.
Fortunately, it changed in the second year of high school when I got a new teacher. Friends from other groups were telling me that she is very strict and expects a lot of work from students. I got scared hearing this as I believed my level of english was terrible but it also motivated me to work more than in previous years. It turned out that the teacher was strict but only when it came to vocabulary and she was neglecting grammar - which suited me wonderfully.
When I finished high school I started watching TV series in english without subtitles which went surprisingly very well. At this point after 12 years of learning english at school I stopped actively learning it because I was satisfied with my level in this language. Though as time went on I realised that my speaking and writing skills are much poorer than listening and writing.
Because of this, I'm taking part in this challenge to find out my shortcomings and to focus on improving my grammar and to make my writing sound better. This time I'm prepared with knowledge about how important repetition is and I want to plan my study.

por que estudo português
Eu estou estudando o português brasileiro há mais ou menos 3 meses. Gosto muito do som da língua, tem alguns elementos que fazem pensar aos idiomas eslavos, outros fazem pensar aos idiomas latinas. Eu estudo o português também porque é uma boa maneira de aprender mais sobre a sua cultura tão rica e isso amplia meus horizontes. Eu me interesso por a comida brasileira, porque tem influência de todo o mundo e a gente descobre alimentos que não existem no próprio país.

Journal
Both in English and Korean, there are a lot of expressions that can’t be explained with simple grammar. I guess it’s mostly the idiomatic expressions that make it so difficult to write in other language.
Same for reading a foreign language. Despite the fact I lived in the US for 7 years, I feel very lost when I encounter dense or heavy texts. I think authors tend to tweak words and grammar purposely to create their unique writing style / voice.
I think the best way to learn foreign language is to dig in to a meaning of a sentence that I don’t understand fully.

COVID-19
As the world plunged into epidemic calamity and the freedom of good people of Middle-Earth was questioned, sovereign states began to introduce various measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Governments were tasked with finding a way to both keep the virus in check and retain their place at the reins of the country’s rule without being overthrown by the population. My home country, Ukraine, was no exception. During the era of digitalization, a solution was proposed as spring, 2020 took its toll on the peoples of Middle-Earth after lockdowns and fear. An app emerged which was aimed at allowing the freedom of movement under the condition of people confining themselves to their houses upon return.

Haidilao Hotpot
I knew Haidilao hotpot a long time ago, but I never had a chance to try it. I remember that one day I was in Hefei and wanted to eat Haidilao. There were many people waiting for it, so I had to give up. At that time, my hometown Fuyang didn't have a Haidilao, and people who wanted to eat it usually went to Hefei or Bengbu. I don't know when Haidilao opened in my city, and it's said at least two or three shops have already opened. Today at lunch time, I went to Haidilao. I didn't need to wait for a seat this time, and it seemed there were still some empty tables left. The big difference compared with other hotpot shops is that the waiters in Haidilao are very enthusiastic and active. They positively change your towels and plates, even help you to pick up the food. No matter when you enter the shop or leave the shop, all the waiters you come across will greet you enthusiastically and positively. When I finished lunch, they gave me a lot of small gifts. Small toys and small foods. I was really full after lunch, but it was not the food I ordered led to, but all the free food, for example, small rice crust, orange and steamed peanuts. I even thought this: if I didn't order anything or only ordered fewer food, could they allow me to eat those free foods until I was full? In a word, this is the most special experience I ever had, but I don't think they need to serve customers that much.
