Stell mir niemanden vor, bitte!
Eine sehr gute Freundin von mir hat mir geschrieben, dass eine ihrer Freundinnen mit einem Jungen die Wohnung teilt. Er ist auch schwul und sie will ihn mir vorstellen. Nein, bitte! Das funktioniert meistens nicht.
Es gibt zu viel Druck, wenn eine Freundin oder ein Freund von dir dir jemanden vorstellt.
Wie war es?
Habt ihr viel gesprochen?
Werdet ihr euch treffen?
Hat er dir nicht gefallen? Warum?
Ich denke, dass ihr sehr gut zusammen passt!

Ach du meine Güte! Ich brauche das nicht!
Es wäre etwas anderes, wenn wir auf einer Party oder so was wären und zufällig uns treffen würden. Aber diese Sache mit der Idee "Ich möchte dir einen sehr tollen Freund von mir vorstellen"... Nein, das kann nur schiefgehen.
Ich weiß es zu schätzen, dass diese Freund von mir mir jemanden tollen vorstellen will, aber ich würde lieber jemanden durch meine eigenen Methoden kennenlernen. Dann gäbe es wenig Enttäuschung, wenn nichts Besonderes passieren würde, und zwar nur meine. Ich werde lieber allein enttäuscht als mehrere Menschen enttäuscht werden zu lassen.
Außerdem ist Mensch nicht gleich Mensch. Diese Freundin hat von Anfang an geschrieben, dass ich und dieser Junge zusammen passen, ohne sogar zu wissen, ob er mir gefallen hat (oder ob ich dem Jungen gefallen habe). Natürlich spreche ich jetzt über das Aussehen. Das ist auch wichtig, weil ich niemanden küssen werde, wenn ich keine Lust darauf habe. Und um Lust darauf zu haben, muss ich den Junge als attraktiv empfinden. Was attraktiv für mich bedeutet, weiß nur ich. Aber ich brauche auch die physische Chemie, um mit jemandem kuscheln zu wollen, egal wie gut, klug oder was auch immer er ist. Damit möchte ich auf keinen Fall sagen, dass das Aussehen am wichtigsten ist. Es spielt aber eine große Rolle für mich und es gibt keinen Grund, warum ich mich dafür schämen sollte.

Traumhaus
Traumhaus? Das ist vielleicht die interessanteste Frage, die man mir vor langem gestellt hat.
Mein Traumhaus hat einen riesigen Garten. Er ist voller Blumen, Gebüsch, Palmen und eine Fontäne. Da kann ich Sonnenblumen pflanzen, mich entspannen und Freunden zum einen BBQ einladen. Mein Traumhaus wäre wahrscheinlich eigentlich ein Schloss, aber die Schlösser können auch zu viel groß sein. Es muss nur die genügenden Räume haben. Oft sehe ich die Häuser der Millionäre und finde sie zu groß und hässlich. Andererseits wäre ein Cottagehaus auch passend für mich. Ich denke, eine große Küche ist auch wichtig und während wir dabei sind, warum nicht auch ein Schwimmbecken? Mein Traumhaus konnte weit von der Stadt sein, aber nicht weit vom Meer, es beruhigt mich und die Ruhe ist mir am wichtigsten.
Nun finde ich, dass ein Traumhaus kann extravagant klingen, aber mein Traumhaus ist nur voller Liebe, so kann ich immer zufrieden sein, womit ich habe.

GRE Issue 'greatness of individuals'
I'm aiming for scoring 4.5 in the GRE analytical writing session. Please make a judgement of my essay and teach me how to revise it. Thanks a lot!
Prompt
The greatness of individuals can be decided only by those who live after them, not by their contemporaries.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
Essay
The assessment of a great person is not a trivial one. The prompt suggests that people's greatness can be decided only by those who live after them and I mostly agree with the idea for three reasons.
To begin with, whatever greatness a person has shown, he or she may do something wrong during the rest of his or her life. It is the person's death when he or she will have no more direct influence on society. Hence, no one can make a complete judgment until he or she dies. For instance, Yang Jian, an emperor of the Sui dynasty, had done multiple great works during his youth. He constructed the Great Canal and eliminate the starvation in China. However, he insisted on attacking Korea, which was hugely against people's will. Many insurgencies broke out during his late years. Therefore, Yang Jian eventually left a bad reputation in China's history, despite the greatness in his early life.
Second, a person's reputation can affect the person itself. If a person enjoys a wonderful reputation, he or she may consequently become complacent, which harms his or her personality. On the other hand, a too good reputation can later cause negative assessments. For instance, Chen Kaige, a director famous for his very first movie, has never produced a movie comparable with his first and greatest one. Although his other movies aren't too bad, he suffers a bad reputation since people always keep a high expectation of him. Therefore, we cannot too focus on the temporary reputation of one person, especially when it's a good one.
Moreover, contemporaries may be shortsighted, cannot foresee the long-term influence of a person. For instance, The doctor who invented an operation, in which he cut off a part of the patient's brain, was rewarded a Nobel prize. Since his contemporaries believe this can cure any mental disease. However, people later realized that such an operation often wipe out a person's personality. Therefore, he gets enormously negative judgment nowadays.
However, the feedback from contemporaries is also significant. A person must listen to other's assessments to be aware of his or her disadvantages. In conclusion, a person's greatness can be better judged by people who live after them. Since not everyone can keep his or her greatness till death, a person's good reputation may rather end in a bad reputation, and contemporaries cannot foresee the long-term influence of a person. However, we shouldn't overlook contemporaries' opinions too.

B: 一到暑假爸爸就带我去旅行，其中让我最难忘的是我和爸爸去北京旅游，那是我第一次来到中国。

Rhycce - Challenge Day 4 - Cual es tu comida favorita
MI comida favorito es ramen masticable con sopa picante. Preparar el ramen es muy facil y se puedo hacer en un microondas. Necesita hervir agua y luego agrega el ramen del paquete. Permitir que hierva a fuego lento por lo menos cuatro minutes y se hace.
La parte de sopa de la comida es mucho mas complicado. Usualmente, comienza con hacer caldo como base. Esta puede toma horas. Si quieres usar el caldo de huesos, tu necesitaría hervir los huesos por doce horas a menos. Pero un caldo de mariscos puede tomar lo menos treinte minutos hacerlo. Es mas facil usar base de sopa en polvo empaquetada pero eso no sabe bien como caldo fresca.

On ne connait pas le propre pays
Je me souviens l'époque quand j'habitais dans la préfecture de Gifu. J'ai rencontré deux femmes brésiliennes, qui habitaient là-bas. Ils venaient toutes les deux de la région amazonienne. Je n'avais jamais rencontré personne dans ma vie qui y vivait. Quand je les ai entendus parler de la nourriture amazonienne qui leur manquait le plus, c'était comme écouter deux étrangers. Je n'avais jamais entendu parler des fruits et des plats dont ils parlaient auparavant. Je pense que les Brésiliens ont une connaissance très limitée de leur propre pays, à moins que vous voyagiez beaucoup ou que vous ayez des parents ou des amis qui vivent loin.

Le troisième jour - Ma famille
Ma famille
Il y a 4 personnes dans ma famille. Père, mère, sœur de 8 ans de plus que moi, et moi.
Quand mon père était jeune, il était menuisier. C'était une personne très créative. Il a fabriqué une voiture électrique en bois pour moi. J'ai crié joyeusement: "J'aime mon père le plus!". Plus tard, j'ai grandi, parce que les valeurs de mon père et moi sommes devenues de plus en plus différentes, notre relation n'est pas très bonne. Papa est décédé un an après avoir obtenu mon diplôme universitaire, et nous ne l'avons même pas vu la dernière fois.
Ma mère est une femme travailleuse, elle n'a pas une bonne éducation, mais elle a toujours fait de son mieux pour sa famille et assume ses propres responsabilités. Elle est la personne la plus favorisée de ma vie.
Ma sœur a huit ans de plus que moi. Elle est considérée comme la moitié de ma mère, car ma mère est généralement très occupée au travail, va à la maternelle, à l'école primaire et plus tard à l'université. C'est ma sœur qui m'a amené à me présenter et à m'aider s'adapter à la nouvelle vie. Je suis très reconnaissant à ma sœur.

我が家は４人家族で、父と母と８歳年上の姉、そして私と構成します。その中では特に父のことが言いたいです。父は若い時に大工で、それて楽器がとても得意でした。父は私にとて創造力が高い人だと思って、普段は優しい人だけど、うつ病のせいか偶に戸惑い怒りが生じました。。とても小さい時に、父が木の電動車まで作ってくれた！「お父さんが一番大好きだ！」と喜んで大声をかけた。父は、私が理解できなかったことのため、しばしば自分の世界に没頭していました。満点を取ってやたのに、「学校での勉強は人生で一番重要な物じゃないだよ！そして、実世界での色々の勉強こそ何よりも必要だ！」父は母と違く真面目にそうと言ってくれた。高校生から、二人は人生への態度や信念がますます異なって、一面見ても喧嘩しまい、父との関係は悪くなって行った。「あんたのような人間になる事は絶対ない！」父にそんな残酷な言葉を出してしまった。そして大学の時、彼に一度でも「父さん」を呼ばらないそのままでした。そして、大学卒業の１年後父は心臓病でなくなりまして、最後の一面でも会えなかった。父の死はもう六年以上もあることだけど、自分が父にそっくりなったと感じって、そして父の思い方や人生論を理解できるようになってきた。人生は何時までも未完成の作品、前の目標を取った時に新しいのを探すことだ。父は「自分のお父さん」だけでなく、彼自身の人生もある人間だと納得なりました。

Els menjars
Al tema dels menjars que m’agraden i els que no, diria que no sóc una persona difícil. En general m’agraden els menjars picants; quant més picant és, millor em sap (fins un cert punt). El meu manjar preferit son les ales de pollastre fregides amb salsa Búfalo. Gairebé cada vegada que em junto al bar amb els amics demano aquestes ales.
Per l’altra mà, hi ha dues coses que no aguanto: les setes i la majonesa (mayonesa?). Mai m’han agradat les setes. La seva textura, el seu sabor, i sabent que no són animal ni planta em donen una reacció de repulsió. Sorprenc a moltes persones quan les dic que sempre evito la majonesa. Aqui conto l’historia: Quan la meva germana tenia 10 o 11 anys, va agafar morpions als cabells. Els pares van llegir online que untar majonesa al seu cap els ofegaria i els mataria. Van tenir èxit, però durant tota la setmana la casa tenia l’olor de majonesa! Des d’aleshores mai he menjat res que contingui aquesta salsa.

La televisión causa el mal comportamiento en los jóvenes
La televisión puede ser una buena herramienta para divertirse, empero la televisión puede causa efectos negativos en los jóvenes. Aunque la televisión puede ser mala, no tiene toda la culpa por el mal comportamiento entre los jóvenes.
Los jóvenes adquieren mals hábitos cuando miren algunos programas de televisión. Esto se debe a que la televisión muestra contenido inadecuado para los jóvenes que contiene violencia, palabrotas y en algunos casos el sexo. Estas cosas pueden ser malas para los jóvenes ya que asimilan facilmente las cosas es su vida diaria. El resultado es que ellos experimentan cambios en su comportamiento, lo que afecta cómo interactúan con los demás. Por ejemplo, una chica podría ser agresiva con sus compañeras mientras juegan.
Por otra parte, las personas con quien los jóvenes interactúan, puede conducir a su comportamiento negativo. Es cierto que en algún momento, los jóvenes experimentan la presión de los pares, lo que provoca malos comportamientos en los jóvenes. La presión de los pares hace que los jóvenes hagan cosas solo porque sus compañeros están haciéndolas. Los triste es que a veces se enfrentan a problemas graves por su mal comportamiento.

Minha família (30 Day Language Challenge, Day 3)
Minha família é formada dos meus pais e da minha irmã. Claro que aparte disso, eu também tenho avós, um avô, tios/tias e primos/primas mas quase nunca vejo a essas pessoas porque vivem longe de mim, na Alemanha.
Meu membro da família favorito é minha irmã. Ela tem dois anos menos do que eu e agora é como ter uma amiga e uma irmã em só uma pessoa. Ela trabalha como designer gráfica numa empresa de TI. Aos 22 anos ela já é responsável para todo o departamento o que eu acho bem impressionante.
Minha mãe é professora de educação infantil (com todo coração) e meu pai estudou geografia - é um pouco difícil e não muito interessante explicar o que ele faz exatamente agora.
E eu? Estudei ciências políticas e só faltam duas semanas até eu mudar da casa dos meus pais para um apartamento compartilhado. Estou muito curiosa ver como é viver mais independentemente.
Mas mesmo com mais liberdades não vou querer ter animais de estimação porque simplesmente não gosto muito destes. Tampouco sei se algum dia quero ter filhos. Só sei que no futuro queria ter namorada e estar casada. Então a questão de filhos também dependera muito dela.

Mi comida favorita
Desde pequeña siempre he querido las ensaladas. En mi opinión, son muy versátiles y refrescantes y te las puedes comer durante cualquier mes del año. Cuando era niña, mi ensalada favorita era la ensalada griega porque me encantaba el queso salado, los tomates jugosos y el aderezo ácido. Luego descubrí la ensalada Niçoise y me gustó que había tantas coberturas, lo cual me inspiró en la universidad cuando solía preparar ensaladas calientes con quinoa, kale, calabacín y verduras asadas.
No queda mucha comida que no me gusta porque intento apreciar todo tipo de sabores y texturas pero prefiero no comer las aletas ni las costillas porque son difíciles de comer sin ensuciarse.

The Rotate Cuff Injury
Recently, I often wake up at night two or three times. I think the main reason is that my left shoulder has rotate cuff injury, and it hurts a lot during the night. My right shoulder used to hurt, but it didn't last long and cured itself even though I never treated it. My left shoulder started to hurt about a year ago, and it hurt a lot last winter. I went to a blind massage store to go massage when I really couldn't stand it. In total, I did massages three times and finally gave up. After three massages, I felt like it didn't have any effects, and if I continued to do it, the pain could even get worse, so I thought I should go to a hospital to see doctors for systematic treatment. I went to the Chinese medicine hospital and did some physical exams including nuclear magnetic resonance. After watching the film, a doctor told me my left shoulder has rotator cuff injury and no good treatment method. At that hospital, I had acupuncture, electrotherapy and fumigation, but it didn't seem to have any effect. Moreover, it was said western medicine even had less method to treat it. So I have quit treating the ill. I just put up with it and see if it can be cured itself.

A Place Further than the Universe
Sometimes I've posted articles about anime and TV shows such as Violet Evergarden, Monogatari series, The Queen's Gambit, and Stranger Things. Even though I'd like to recommend a bunch of anime series, one of my favorite anime I mention here is A place further than the Universe. The story is filled with heartbreaking episodes, the joy of youth, and breakthrough from the boredom of everyday life, with which we can sympathize especially in COVID-19 lockdown.
The plot is that a group of high school girls aim for visiting the Antarctica in order to find resolutions to their own problems such as the loss of a mother, the job, and friendships. I had also dreamed of joining Antarctica exploration team because I was fascinated by stargazing and collection of meteorites. You would easily find meteorites in Antarctica since the field is covered with white ice, and no civilians can explore there.
As mentioned in the title, it takes much more time to reach the Antarctica than to get out from the earth. You might say that everyone go to the Antarctica if he can afford expensive tour tickets unlike the universe. However, we are prone to stay hometown or the current job even if we have complaints about the situation and sufficient resources to move out. This anime would encourage you to make some decisions on your own life.
