16 décembre 2022 - jour 3
Après avoir passé le region le plus riche du Japon, on a visité un marché traditional qui vendait de fruits de mer (築地市場). Comme c’était presque midi, on était entouré des bons odeurs de poissons frits et ça nous donnait envie de prendre le déjeuner. Il y avait du monde là bas et c’était vraiment une autre expérience.
Pour l’après-midi, on est allées au musée (Teamlab). J’aime bien cet endroit parce que c’était beau et unique et on pouvait prendre beaucoup de photos. On jouait avec le mirrors, les lumières et les fleurs. Tout ça, c’est très chic !

Hello! I hope you're having a nice day.
For today's journal entry I'll be attempting to a homework task. In this homework task I need to describe my peer.
Note: I'm aiming for the American English dialect, in particular. I wish to write in a formal style.
This is my fourth participation in this forum.

Fidel, my peer is 17 years old. He is from Mexico City and he has never traveled to another country.
His favorite song is "If I can dream" by Elvis Presley.
During his weekends, he plays videogames or goes to parties.

Second Day
This is my second journal. I have been busy these months so I couldn't come back and continue where I left this off...
I went to Barcelona to visit a friend of mine who recently moved there. I then came back to the UK, and get are having one of the coldest winters I can remember. Temperatures have been below zero for most of the week, and we have reached -10 degrees for some days... it's been tough. At least, I have started my holidays, and I will not come back to work until January.
Yesterday I also had my company's End-of-the-Year party. It was really fun, and when I came back home it started to snow, which made it feel unforgettable.
I have been a bit down lately. I want to start going to the gym once again, hopefully by January.
That's me for today's journal. I'll appreciate any corrections/suggestions!

Ayer, recibimos dos boletos a atendamos por el juego de Winnipeg Jets. Comimos la cena temprano así hacemos son las siete comenen tiempo. El fue un juego muy bien y mi hockey favorito equipe ganado dos a uno aribba el hockey equipe Las Vegas en las horas extras. Fue salimos el juego, Lays, la compenera de la papas frita fue las bolsas gratis de la papas frita. Caminamos a mi carro y conduco a la casa.

Hace unos meses leí un libro que trata de un policía y su amiga lista. Existe un red de delincuentes que viven en las alcantarillaras y tomen un rehén. Trabajando contra tiempo, el agente y la mujer encuentren el rehén. Quería leerlo otra vez porque creo que sería más fácil ahora que antes.

受動喫煙
煙草は、この60年の研究の結果により身体に悪影響を与える発癌性物質や有害物質が含まれることが明らかとなっている。世界中の国々では、従来に比べて煙草がかなり制限されてきている。煙草の需要がなくなるように、特別の税金、いわゆる煙草税が課されるようになっている。
社会は、だんだん煙草の損害を意識するようになっているが、多くの人は直接に吸わないと損はない、他人の煙にさらされることにそんなに注意する必要がない、と思い込んでいる。しかし、研究ではっきりしたのは、身体被害は吸っている本人に止まることなく、他人にも及ぶことだ。この煙は、副流煙と呼ばれ、本人の主流煙に比べて、発癌性物質の量が３倍になる。
そのため、この近代の嫌煙運動は、一人一人の害を減らす運動だけではなく、周囲の人を守る運動でもある。その理想を受け入れた証拠は、完全禁煙のレストランが現れたり、都市のあちこちに分煙が出来ている場所もあることだ。それでも課題が多く、煙草の普及が深刻の国は、一般に受動喫煙の危険性が認めたり、法律が変わる時間がかかる。

Hoy es el día 46 de mi reto de español. Hoy me pasé más tiempo limpiendo la casa, me duché y me descansé un poco porque me duele en la capeza.
Por la tarde,revisé en vez cómo usar el verbo " llevear". Creo que se me difficultó asi que he tratado de escribir otras oracionas con " llevar".

Canciones que me gustan en español
Hay muchas canciones en español que escucho con placer. Esta tarde, quisiera escribir sobre canciones un poco poéticas, entonces, no voy a hablarles de mi amor por el reggaeton, sino de tres canciones en español que me conmovieron realmente.
La primera es «Corazón espinado» de Carlos Santana, cantada por Fernando Olvera. Para empezar, debo decir que me gusta muchísimo la música de Santana. Para mí, el continente americano fuera una música, sería la música de Santana, que no sólo es un genio con una guitarra en mano, pero también un artista que mezcla los centenares de influencias que han constituido los estilos tradicionales norteamericanos y caribaños para obtener un resultado único, con canciones suaves y cálidas. Santana también encursionó en un estilo más pop, entre otros con «Corazón Espinado», que representa una buena «porta de entrada» al universo musical del artista. El resultado es una canción animada que no traiciona las particularidades estilísticas que hacen de Satana un músico tan original.
Una otra canción que me gusta es «Aquellos ojos verdes», compuesta por Nilo Menéndez. Sin embargo, su intérprete más famoso fue sin dudas el grandísimo Nat King Cole. ¡Qué canción romántica y relajante! He sempre tenido una affección particular para la versión de King Cole. Su pequeño acento inglés lleva aun más suavidad a la canción.
Por último, quería mencionar «La quiero a morir», versión hispano-francesa de la canción francesa de Francis Cabrel de «Je l'aime à mourir», interpretada por... ¡Shakira! De verdad, Shakira está más conocida por sus bailas lascivas, pero se muestra particularmente talentosa y emocionante interpretando esta canción. Las letras de la canción (tanto en francés como en español) son muy hermosas y poéticas. ¡Además, Shakira canta muy bien en francés! No sé si Shakira y Francis ya han cantado en dúo. Sería el dúo insólito, pero sería también un maravilloso momento musical...

True friend - what does it mean?
Modern technology allows us to make hundreds of little friends with one click but that is not real friendship.
Only when you are in trouble do you see who your true friend is. Many friends are fake and insincere, I have found a couple of them in my life. A true friend is a person who is always by your side, in good times and in bad. If you want to have true friends, you have to be like that yourself, help others in trouble, be there for others in good times and in bad. A true friend helps you achieve your dreams and goals. A true friend is selfless and doesn't think only of himself. I think that I am a good example of a true friend because, because I would do anything for my friends. For a man to have a beautiful garden, I should invest a lot in it, it is also with a friend.
Everything that I described, I found in my best friend Mani. I am grateful that I met him and with him I understood what it means to have a real friend by your side, together we hang out, laugh, sing and dance. I always feel happy and safe with him.

Pour quelques personnes c'est dur d'avoir une relation amicale parce qu'ils ont trop peur de pas être suffisant. Ca veut dire qu'ils reflechissent trop et croyaient que leurs amis n'aiment pas vraiment. À cause de ca ils commencent à s'en loigner de la personne avec qu'ils ont la relation pour pas être blesser à l'avenir. Mais ce n'est pas quelque chose de quoi on doit avoir peur, si on croit qu'il y a une problème la premier coup est de demander pour vérifer.

”SPY x FAMILY"
I began reading the comic called ”SPY x FAMILY" which was recommended by my friend earlier.
She said a character named Anya, who is little girl, is very cute.
After reading, I agree with that.
”SPY x FAMILY" is a fake family’s story.
A spy man adopted a little girl, Anya for his mission.
In fact, Anya is an esper and she can read people's minds.
In addition, her step mother is an assassin, and they have a dog with precognition comes out.
All of them make secret about themselves, but Anya know their parents’s job, because she can read their minds.
It's a comedy and positive story so I enjoy reading it.

As computers translate quickly and accurately, learning foreign languages is a waste of time.
To what extent do you agree?
Some people opine that it is no longer necessary to learn a second language because all languages can now be translated swiftly and precisely using machine translation programs. I completely disagree.
First, computerized translation tools lack preciseness. While all languages contain a myriad of homonyms, slangs, idioms, and grammatical exceptions, these tools are often only able to translate word for word and follow a set of grammar rules. As a result, they usually produce stilted translations with many errors. Therefore, they can only be used as a supplementary tool and still need human involvement to review and fine-tune their products. For example, legal documents, academic articles, and books need a professional translator with in-depth knowledge of the field to be translated precisely as they include a plethora of jargons, which is impossible to feed to computers comprehensively. Similarly, computers cannot precisely translate metaphors, similes, implications, and novel uses of languages in literary works.
Second, knowing a foreign language can greatly benefit people in many ways. It can open a wide range of career opportunities, such as translators and language teachers, give a significant competitive advantage in the job market and a higher wage due to the increasingly globalized economy. It also offers many cognitive benefits, such as improved memory, critical thinking skills, and ability to multitask, as well as delayed mental aging and cognitive decline. In addition, being able to communicate in more than one language widens one’s range of potential acquaintances and friends immeasurably, enriching lives and providing more support in difficult times. Hence, learning another language remains extremely beneficial.
In conclusion, computers are incapable of translating with high accuracy, so proficiency in another language is still a valuable skill for career prospects. On top of that, language learning can also lead to improved brain function and widened social networks.

Sleeping and good habits
Good habits are very important to have a recomfortable night. Usually, people use screens (tv, phone, pc...) during all the day, and it's important don't do it before you go to the bed. Other good habit is go to the bed and wake up at the same time everyday, even wekeend. Workout is too a nice practice to have a good sleep but is important don't do it at last time of the day, becouse it's probably that this activate you more and do that you feel less tired. There are only a few things you can do to have a repair sleep and wake up the next day with more energy.

Les chansons
L’autre jour, quelqu’un m’a demandé si dans une chanson, est ce que la mélodie ou les paroles sont les plus importantes. J’aime la musique mais je n’ai jamais réfléchi profondément à cette question.
Je ne connais pas très bien la musique classique et d’habitude, j’écoute de la musique pop. J’admets qu’il y a certains artistes que j’adore mais la plupart du temps, j’écoute n’importe quelle type de musique pop. C’est du bruit de fond et ça m’aide à penser ou faire du travail.
Mais après avoir réfléchi à cette question, je me suis rendu compte que c’est toujours la mélodie qui m’attire pour la première fois. Après avoir écouté la chanson plusieurs fois, je me concentre alors sur les mots. J’admets que souvent les paroles ne sont pas importantes et à mon avis, souvent les paroles sont répétitives et ne font pas beaucoup de sens. J’imagine c’est parce que le compositeur essaie de faire rimer les mots.
C’est assez rare que j’écoute les chansons en langues étrangères. Je suppose c’est parce que ma langue maternelle est anglaise et les chansons dans les autres langues sont difficiles à comprendre. Sauf une chanson qui est tellement entraînante comme « Feliz Navidade ». Vous la connaissez ?
Ceci étant dit, aujourd’hui, j’ai écouté des chansons de Noël en français. J’ai compris presque rien : un mot ici et un mot là. Néanmoins, j’ai cherché les mots pour « The Twelve days of Christmas », une chanson de Noël anglaise et j’étais étonnée puisque la traduction en français était complètement différente !
