I think about this question every now and then, and even some friends and family members also often discuss this issue with interest. Actually, despite all the problems and craziness of our world, I'm very comfortable living in the present time, unless I can go to my childhood. If am given a chance to time travel to other centuries, provided that I could come back to my life again anytime I want, I would choose traveling to the past. I would like to see how people would live without all the technologies we now have, or the knowledge in different fields such as medicine. How would they deal with the muddy streets when it rained? Would they clean their shoes every day? Or how would people smell given that they couldn't take a bath or shower as often as we now do? How clean was the weather and how did the nature look like compared to our time? Of course, we have read about those time and seen movies, but recognizing that feeling directly would be interesting, in my opinion.

Thank you.

Using the conditional tense ("would be given") here sounds nicer because it is a hypothetical situation.
I would like to see how people would live without all the technologies we now have, or the knowledge in different fields such as medicine.
How would they have dealt with the muddy streets when it rained?
You should use present perfect here, as you are "expressing a past event that has present consequences".

Would they have cleaned their shoes every day?
Same issue as the sentence before
Or how would the people have smelled like, given that they couldn't take a bath or shower as often as we do now do?
How clean was the weather and howwhat did the nature look like compared to our time?
Not sure what you mean by "clean" here, but even if you take this word out, the sentence still sounds fine.
Of course, we have read about those time and seen movind seen movies about those times, but recognizing that feeling directly would be interesting, in my opinion.
Thank you.
