Why are people protesting? SOS Colombia

1. In the middle of the pandemic, the Colombian Government decided to make a hard reformation of the taxes. Incrementing the price of almost everything, including basic things as food, technology, and so on.
2. The health reformation, implementing a system that won't guarantee the access of health to everyone and have a lot of unfair things taking into account the social gap in Colombia, some of them are: remove the public health system called regimen subsidiado, give the money to the EPS who will have the power on all the health area including the education, quit one of the biggest centers for the cancer management to change it to a private center, more taxes depending on the diseases, etc.
3. The selective killings of the social leaders.
4. The pension reformation but I don't have enough information about it.
5. THE CORRUPTION.

Also, in the middle of the protest, they're a lot of abuses from the public force against the people, like killing, unjustified arrest, rape, and some people said that they were tortures in some zones also they were people throwing rocks at the police but their weapons aren't comparable so we can't see them equal.
So the movement of putting the flag in reverse is to show the people that we need the protection of our human rights, we don't want more violence and I know that I can't express all the pain that we are feeling as Colombian Citizens or even make a complete resume but if you see information that can save a life, can help in this situation, if you can change something please don't ignore us.

Why are people protesting? SOS Colombia

1. In the middle of the pandemic, the Colombian Ggovernment decided to make a hard reformation of the taxesintroduce a tax reform bill.

You could also say, "The Colombian government introduced a number of austerity measures." (if you want to refer to more than just the tax reform legislation)

IncrementingThe proposed legislation would raise the price of almost everything, including basic thingsnecessities such as food, technology, and so on.

I wouldn't list "technology" as a "basic" thing, maybe something more specific like "Internet (and other utilities?) bills"?

2. The health reformation,Reform of the healthcare system: they propose implementing a system that won'tuld no longer guarantee theveryone access tof health to everyone and have a lot of unfair things taking into account the social gapcare and would exacerbate the social gap (better: social inequality) in Colombia, s. Some of them arexamples include: removeing the public health system called regimen subsidiado, give thing more money to the EPS whoich will have the power onver all areas of healthcare (the health carea system?) including thealth education, quitprivatizing one of the biggest centers for the cancer management to change it to a private center, more taxes depending on the(cancer care?), increasing taxes on individuals who have certain diseases, etc.

Better, more succinct way of saying "won't guarantee the access of health to everyone": "eliminate universal healthcare."

Also, not sure what "more taxes depending on the diseases" means here. I took a wild guess and translated it to "increasing taxes on individuals who have certain diseases." Not sure if that's accurate but if so, that is quite draconian!

3. The selective killings of the social leaders.

Better: "Assassination of leaders of social movements (or activists, social justice advocates/leaders, union leaders, etc.)"

4. The pension reformation but I don't have enough information about it.

5. THE CORRUPTION.

Also, in the middle of the protests, they're have been a lot of abuses from the police (or military/armed forces? Not sure what "public force" is) against the people, like killing, unjustified arrest, rape, and some people said that they were (better: murder or manslaughter), unjustified arrest, rape, even alleged tortures i. In some zones also, theyre were peoplerotesters throwing rocks at the police, but their se protesters' "weapons" aren't not at all comparable sto we can't see them equal.those used by the police, who would retaliate using disproportionate force.

So the movement of putting the flag in reverse is to show the people that we need the protection of our human rights to be respected, we don'want want mor end to the violence and. I know that I can't express all the pain that we are feeling as Colombian Ccitizens or even make a complete resumely summarize the situation, but if you see information that can save a life, or if you can help in this situation, if you can change something, please don't ignore us.

Sorry don't know what "the movement of putting the flag in reverse" means.
The final part also doesn't make much sense, "if you see information that can save a life, can help in this situation, if you can change something please don't ignore us." Maybe what you would like to say is something like this: "If you can help spread the word around the world about the situation in my country, please do your best to help us and don't ignore us!"

Feedback

Wow, that is horrific! I had no idea what was going on, but I skimmed some news articles about Duque's austerity measures and the insane levels of state repression/terrorism. Good luck; praying for you all.
