What has been your best dining out experience?
My best dining out experience was probably at sushi restaurant with my family when I was 21 years old.The restaurant was not fine, but I still remember we had a very fun conversation. I think best dining needs not only taste but also good atmosphere and people.

I think the best dining needs not only taste but alsoexperience not only needs to taste good, but must also have a good atmosphere and people.
I think this sounds a bit more natural. You can also say, "I think the best dining experience not only needs to be delicious, but to also be with good people and an enjoyable atmosphere."

I don't think I can choose 1 dining experience that I've enjoyed the most, but the ones that I do enjoy are ones with my family or friends, especially if it's a bigger group.

"was not fine" is a bit unclear. It could mean the restaurant was not fancy (or fine dining) or the food was not very good? This could also mean the service was bad but the food was ok. It really depends on what was not good about the restaurant. There was no Japanese version, so I tried to change this to keep your general meaning. You could also say (if average food) "Overall the food at the restaurant wasn't anything special, but... " (of if the food wasn't good) "Overall the food at the restaurant was not very good, but..."

What you have is understandable but this sounds a little better to me. You could also say: I think the best dining experiences require more than just delicious food, but a nice atmosphere with good people too.
