Watching TV

I often use TV to improve my English, it's very useful. I select cultural programs, such as documentaries related to nature or history.
Sometimes I watch TV without subtitles, it depends on the offer on that moment. My favorite choice is watching it with subtitles also in English, but this is not always possible.
I always learn new vocabulary and train my ear to understand different tunes and accents. I find it's difficult to understand American people.
Obviously when we are beginners, this can be very frustrating. This happened to me with Japanese films. It's a very difficult language and I only studied a few months. Even in this case, when I was able to understand a single word, I was very happy.

A menudo uso la televisión para mejorar mi inglés, es muy útil. Selecciono programas culturales, como documentales relacionados con naturaleza o historia.
A veces veo televisión sin subtítulos, depende de la oferta en ese momento. Mi opción favorita es verla con subtítulos también en inglés, pero esto no siempre es posible.
Siempre aprendo vocabulario nuevo y entreno mi oído para entender diferentes melodías y acentos. Encuentro que es difícil entender a los estadounidenses.
Obviamente, cuando somos principiantes, esto puede resultar muy frustrante. Esto me pasó con las películas japonesas. Es un idioma muy difícil y solo estudié unos meses. Incluso en este caso, cuando pude entender una sola palabra, me sentí muy feliz.
