I watched the announcement of the Nobel Prize in Physics on YouTube today. I was glad because Japanese researcher, Syukuro Manabe, won the prize. He was born in Ehime and graduated from Tokyo University. He has acquired American citizenship and now lives in the United States.

今日はノーベル物理学賞の発表をYouTubeで見ました。日本人研究者の真鍋淑郎さんが受賞したので、嬉しかったです。彼は愛媛県生まれで、東京大学を卒業しています。今はアメリカ国籍を取得して、アメリカに住んでいます。
