The moonlight shines brightly shines in front of the bed, assumes is the frost is on the ground.
I’m not sure what the second sentence means, do you mean that that the moonlight assumes the frost is on the ground? Or an indirect narrator does?
Look up to see the bright moon, look down again, and think of distant family.
