Every word after any punctuation (, . ? ; :) gets a space in English.
"made me raise up" doesn't make sense in English because "raise up" can be applied to more things than just your "spirits/feelings," so you have to explicitly say what is being "raised up"

Though "canteen" is correct, it's not really ever used in English. The words we might use are "cafeteria," or "mess hall" (less common).
The phrase is "In short," instead of "In sort." It's a shorter way of saying "To explain in a short amount of detail" (Which ironically take a lot of words to say itself).
You can pick up what you likewant to eat and put it in a big plastic basin, then give it to the waiter to cook it.

There were a lot of homonyms in here (words that sound the same but have a different meaning). Let me go through them all.
sale -> sell (sale is when an item in a shop is already being sold, but now it "goes on sale" for a cheaper price).
coast -> cost (coast has several different meaning based on context, it either means the connection between land and an ocean, or it goes in a saying "to coast through <task>" where <task> can be one of "life," "work," "class," etc. and means that "it is very easy to do the <task>")
expansive -> expensive (expansive means "very big," or "very wide")
