Time Management (2 or 3)

About two weeks ago, I wrote about my time management problems.

Today, I want to talk about the solutions and share some experiences with you.

First of all, I found that a morning journal is an excellent tool to make my daily target clear. I used to make a weekly plan on Sunday, but now I write a journal in the morning right after my exercise routine. Then I'll be very clear about what I should do for the whole day.

Secondly, sticking to the activities with a specific time is a good idea to avoid chaos. Thanks to dear ManningAnne, I found some online friends on conversationexchange.com. I scheduled all of this language exchange for Sunday morning this week. And it becomes quite useful and unstressful.

The last one is that sometimes, we need to say no. There were numerous friend requests from conversationexchange.com. At first, I was very polite to reply to every message, but now I just ignore those messages from the senders who apparently didn't read or care what I said on my profile page. Maybe this sounds a little rude. But imagine this: you make it very clear that you want to communicate in teams, and then some people insist on adding you on WeChat, which is not just a social app but also a work app for you, and then you receive numerous messages during your work time, and some of them even accuse you of not responding to messages promptly. So now I just want to find those friends who can match my schedule and tools.

By the way, there's one more reason I like langcorrect.com. Here, we don't have strange individuals asking personal questions or accusing me of overworking during my business hours.

Time Management (Part 2 or 3)

这个意思吧 I think it's a bit confusing if you don't add the word "part"

About two weeks ago, I wrote about my time management problems.

Today, I want to talk about the solutions and share some experiences with you.

First of all, I found that a morning journal is an excellent tool to make my daily target clear.

还可以

First of all, I found that keeping a morning journal is an excellent way to make my day's goals clear. 我会这样说

I used to make a weekly plan on Sunday, but now I write a journal in the morning right after my exercise routine.

Then I'it will be very clear aboutto me what I should do for the whole day.

To be clear also has the meaning of to say something clearly, to emphasize something, to make sure there's no misunderstandings, usually in the form of "let me be clear". For example, if a guy wants to meet up with you you could say "let me be clear, this is a not a date".

"do for the whole day" has a bit of an implication here: it means that after you write your morning journal, you will know what to do every minute of the day until you go to sleep. Perhaps that's the effect you get from it, but normally stating one's goal in the morning would have the effect of making it clear what one has to accomplish during the day. The difference is that for example if I were to write in my morning journal that today I will study Chinese for two hours and read two chapters of a book, I might accomplish that by 6PM, and then it doesn't tell me what to do at 8PM. The way you phrased your sentence means it's clear for you what to do the whole day - maybe you complete your goals only right before you go to bed, or maybe you go into relaxation mode after you complete the tasks - as a result it's clear for you what to do every minute of the day. I think that you are implying exactly something like that.

In case you're not implying that, I would change the end to "what I should accomplish during the day".

Secondly, sticking to the activities with a specific timedeciding on a specific time for what to do when is a good idea to avoid chaos.

J人

I found your phrasing a bit unwieldy here. Mine is too lol, but maybe closer to what a native speaker would say?

Thanks to dear ManningAnne, I found some online friends on conversationexchange.com.

It's unclear who this is, I assume a langcorrect user. You could specify by saying "Thanks to a fellow langcorrect user..." or something like that.

I found friends还可以?But usually we say "made" friends.

I scheduled all of this language exchange for Sunday morning this week.

这个意思吗。看不懂all of this这里是啥。

And it becomeScheduling it in advance is quite useful and unmakes it less stressful.

看不懂,这个意思吗

If that's what you mean, I can't relate. J人。

The last one is that sometimes, we need to say no.

There wereI got numerous friend requests fromon conversationexchange.com.

Friend request on the website.

At first, I was trying to be very polite toand reply to every message, but now I just ignore those messages from the senderspeople who apparently either didn't read or care what I said on my profile page or didn't care about it.

Ugh yeah don't bother with those people. Could be bots or zhanans.

Did you specify in your profile you will not add people on wechat? I do add people on wechat and message them during work lol. But not if they tell me not to (or write it clearly in their profile)

My initial comment on the previous sentence was more strongly worded, but you're angry at them for the thing I do >.<

So now I just want to find those friends who can match my schedule and toolsmeans of communication.

Tools I assume means the software for communication.

There should be a better way to write this sentence, sorry.

By the way, there's one more reason why I like langcorrect.com.

Here, we don't have strange individuals asking personal questions or accusing me of overworking during my business hours.

What do you mean by overworking? Overworking means you do too much work during work hours. If you're multitasking and having language exchanges while at work, that's procrastinating, or wasting the company's time, or just not doing your job. I think that's what you meant.

(Part 2 or 3) - at first I thought you were writing a multi-part thing and forgot which part this is... I now suspect this was a typo and what you meant that this is part 2 of 3. In which case (Part 2 of 3) is fine, or or just (2/3). I think (2 of 3) is wrong.

Time Management (2 orf 3)

I assume you mean “of”.

About two weeks ago, I wrote about my time management problems.

Today, I want to talk about themy solutions and share some experiences with you.

More natural, in my opinion. “The” sounds like “the only possible solutions” or “all possible solutions.”

First of all, I found that a morning journal is an excellent tool to make my daily target clear.

I used to make a weekly plan on Sunday, but now I write a journal in the morning right after my exercise routine.

Then I'll be/ This way, I'm very clear about what I should do for the whole day.

Secondly, [sticking to the activities with a specific time] is a good idea to avoid chaos.

I’m not sure what you mean by “sticking to the activities with a specific time.” Maybe “sticking to a schedule”? Or “choosing specific times for specific activities”?

Thanks to dear ManningAnne, I found some online friends on conversationexchange.com.

I scheduled all of this language exchange for Sunday morning this week.

And [it] has becomes quite useful and unstressful. / stress-free.

What does “it” refer to? I understand it’s something that both is useful and doesn’t involve stress, but I’m having trouble seeing what that is.

The last one is that sometimes, we need to say no.

There wereI received numerous friend requests from conversationexchange.com.

What do you mean by overworking? Overworking means you do too much work during work hours. If you're multitasking and having language exchanges while at work, that's procrastinating, or wasting the company's time, or just not doing your job. I think that's what you meant.
