My three friends and I were returning from a spooky Halloween party.

We were going to sleep at my house.

My house was quite far from home where the party was, and we had to walk a lot because none of us had batteries on the phone to call someone.

Just as we were leaving it started to rain and the strong stormy wind started to blow, it sounded creepy and ghostly.

It was really scary.

We hurried but after a few minutes the lights went out and it was completely dark in the street.

Tingles went through all three, our hair was raising.

One friend started crying out of fear but the rest of us managed to calm her down and continued and came to the worst part, and that is the forest.

We heard that a lot of terrible and mysterious things happened there.

When we entered, we heard owls.

There was a storm on top of all that, and the feeling was outrageous.

Suddenly we heard a scream and all four started running as fast as we could.

I ran last in line and I was sure that someone else was running behind me and trying to catch me and my friends.

One of my friends stumbled and fell.

When I realized, I headed back to pick her up.

However, I felt a big hand on my hand, trying to pull me away, I was shivering but I managed to pull away and continued and came to my house, where a friend greeted me in fear.

We both felt horrible and were dirty and scratched from falling.

We didn't know where our other two friends were and we started shouting their names, but they didn't respond.

We entered my house and woke up my parents, who immediately called the police and the parents of our friends.

And now, one year later, it is still unknown where they disappeared and what happened.

The police could not find anything, and a forest is a forbidden place since that strange event happened.

Everybody thinks that the forest is haunted and we still remember that intimidating night as if it was yesterday.
