I have suffered from having stiff shoulders for about seven years. At first, I just feel tired a little and it was not a big deal. But it has been worse and worse especially for the last three years. I think the main cause of this is that I stopped exercise regularly and have been using a laptop sitting all day. And to make matters worse, even though I have enough sleep for 10 hours, I still feel very tired and I don't want to do anything. I didn't know the reason at first, but while researching I came to realize it came from stiff shoulders, and maybe my nervous system is in disorder. So recently I have decided to get a professional massage and do it by myself. I have tried to stretch the muscles around the shoulder blades with two balls for a week. Then, I have almost no pain in my shoulder and I feel like energetic. It is getting much better. I am really really happy because the biggest stress in my life has gone! I want to keep this habit, and no more stiff shoulders!

Sometimes sleeping too much may also increase fatigue. Try sleeping for 7-9 hours, instead. I found that I'm really lazy when I sleep too long!
Drinking more water may also help - about 2-3L per day.
