I've been thinking about leaving my current job because even if I've been working for 8 years, but the salary has almost not increased at all.
My company was a small business with about 10 employees when I first joined, Over the years, the workplace has gradually shrunk, and there are now only 5 employees left. I work as a chemical engineer to formulate the chemicals for leather industry, and the following is why I want to leave my job:
One reason is that the salary is almost equal to the same level of the past.
Another reason is that I must do some kind of works that are outside the scope of my responsibilities,
mainly something that is related to my boss's personal things, such as helping him take the photo of his new house under the construction,
record their debating with the builders or structural engineers. It's too not meaningful and nothing about my work.
I think that if it happened occasionally, I didn't mind, but unfortunately my boss take it for granted.
I really hope I will have a smooth resignation.

My company was a small business with about 10 employees when I first joined, Over the years, the workforce has gradually shrunk, and there are now only 5 employees left. I work as a chemical engineer formulating the chemicals for the leather industry, and there are a few main reasons why I want to quit:
One reason is that the salary has not barely changed/the salary has stagnated.
Another reason is that I am asked to do work that is outside of the scope of my responsibilities, usually this is related to my boss's personal life, such as helping him take photos of his new house under construction, or recording him debating with the builders or structural engineers.
It's meaningless and not related to my work.

The plural ‘thoughts’ here works better here
I've been thinking about leaving my current job because even ifthough I've been working there for 8 years, but the salary has almost not increased at all.

1) We use ‘even though’ to contrast thoughts and ‘even if’ for possibility.
- “Even though it’s raining, we’re going to go to the park”- It is raining but you will not change your plans.
- “Even if it rains later, we’re going to go to the park”- It could rain later, but even if it does, you are going to go to the park.
2) You do not need ‘but’ because “even though” is already showing the contrast.
My company was a small business with about 10 employees when I first joined,
Over the years, the workplace has gradually shrunk, and there are now only 5 employees left.

1) ‘Formulating’ is the term that we use for developing chemical products.
2) When we talk about a specific sector of business or manufacturing, we use the definitive article before it.
3) Your last sentence is grammatically correct, but it doesn’t feel very natural. You could also say…
- “ There are a few main reasons why I want to quit…”
- “Here’s why I’m looking for a new job…”
