Daniel was one of the prophets of Israel.
In spite of being in a foreign country, he kept his faith in God.
King Darius of Persia gave great importance to Daniel.
Because of his outstanding talent, he aroused the envy of others, and Daniel was thrown into the lion's den.
The Persian king was greatly shocked when he saw that the lion did not devour him.
"My God sent an angel to shut the lion's mouth," responded Daniel.
Daniel prayed three times a day facing Jerusalem.
This story shows the power of daily prayer.
Even in the face of death threats, he never changed.
His faith was not driven by needs, but centered around God.
My mum is very familiar with the Bible.
She can recount every story in it.

但以理是以色列的先知‌之一。
尽管身处异国，他始终坚持对上帝的信仰。
波斯王大流士重用但以理。
因其卓越才能引发他人的嫉妒，但以理被投入狮子坑。
