Reciting Fairy Tale Books

It's been exactly a year since I started reciting my fairy tale books.

By a translator's YouTube content, I got a hint to improve my speaking skill in English.

Her tip is to recite English books that are a little more difficult than my ability.
She said that many people are suitable for fairy tale books.

Fortunately, I got English fairy tale books called Mr. Men series.
At first, I bought them for my kids, now it was good for my practice.

I have recited a book each morning during a week and I have finished 52 books.

I don't know exactly that my speaking is improved.
Whether or not, I will keep reading them because the books are interesting.

Recitading Fairy Tale BooksChildren’s Books Out Loud

I read your post ahead and what you’re talking about would be called children’s books, not fairy tales. Fairy tales specifically have fantasy elements and are generally old-fashioned.

‘Reciting’ means reading out loud, from memory, in front of an audience. It’s a very specific word and, since I understand that you’re reading from a book, it’s not applicable here, I’ve put ‘out loud’ since otherwise it’s ambiguous.

‘Your ability’ isn’t ‘difficult’ so it doesn’t make sense to say something is ‘more difficult than my ability’.

When you say something is ‘suitable’ it means that it will be used for a certain purpose. Since the books are being used in this situation, I’ve swapped it round.

‘At first’ implies there are multiple steps, originally is more natural here.

Nice work! As always I’ve been very picky so don’t feel disheartened at all my corrections.

I really like the idea of reading out loud as a form of study, I think it would be best coupled with a website like this where you can get feedback. I will have a think about doing this myself.

On a side note, we read Mr. Men books to our son, they’re still great!

I have recited a book each morning duringfor a week and I have finished 52 books.

Actually, I didn't write full routine because I can't describe it clearly.
In the morning, I read the book one time.
It continues a week from Sunday to Saturday.
So I read the book 7 times a week.
Is there any good way to write it on a sentence?
