八時半僕は起きた、それから京都に行った。
京都の図書館で本を貸した。図書館は 近代的だった。
東京の切符を買った、そして駅で新幹線を待った。
本は良かった！
At half past eight I woke up and then went to Kyoto.
I borrowed a book at Kyoto library. The library was modern.
I bought a ticket to Tokyo, and waited for the Shinkansen at the train station.
The book was good!
八時半に（僕は）起きた、それから京都に行った。
京都の図書館で本を貸し借りた。
図書館は近代的だった。
東京行きの切符を買った、そして駅で新幹線を待った。
本は良面白かった！

“貸す” means “to lend” while “借りる” means “to borrow.”
図書館は近代的だった。
