Diary: Flying Ant Day
To be honest, I'm not quite sure what this bug is called, so I'll call it a flying ant for now. This bug is amazing to me. Before a rainy day in summer, a bunch of flying ants appear, they appear indoors and gather in the light. And this condition only occurs one day in a year. We would usually put a basin of water under the light and the bugs would fly towards the water and then the bugs couldn't escape. Today was that special day when dozens of flying ants gathered at a safe escape light in the corner of the dormitory. One flying ant flew into my dorm and I immediately took my roommate's slipper and slapped it to death. Luckily, after turning the light off, no more bugs flew in.
