Playing chess with my son

My son got a gift for the children’s day, it is chess.

He has never played it, so I am teaching it to him.

I am not good at the chess either but no other family members can play it.

When he is playing it more and more, his skill is also improved.

And he is very interesting it and he plays it even in the night.

I hope he can enjoy other board games as well.

Playing chess with my son

My son got a gift for the children’s day, i. It is a chess board.

He has never played it, so I am teaching it to him.

I am not good at the chess either but no other family members can play it.

We typically don't use "the" in front of (some) games and sports, like soccer, basketball, etc

When he isplays it more and more, his skills improve.¶
As he
playings it more and more, his skills is alsomprove.¶
If he plays it more and more, his skills will
improved.

These relate to the conditional tense.
If....will--> show a likely outcome/possibility.
As he plays more--> for me, this shows a progression/improvement over time
When....improve--> I have the idea that he plays, and as a fact, he is improving.

And he is very interestinged it it and he plays it even inat the night.

He is interesting--> He makes other people interested in him.
It is interesting for him--> He likes chess. He thinks it is interesting.
This concept is a little hard to understand, but with practice, it will become easier.
ex. He is bored (his current feeling) versus He is boring (He makes other people feel bored)

I hope he can enjoy other board games as well.

Well done! The conditional tenses and the difference between interested/interesting are hard for many learners. With practice, I'm sure you'll continue learning more :)
