Corrections

1. Quedé con mi jefe para hablar del sueldo.

2. No puedo ir porque tengo una entrevista de trabajo.

3. Quiero convertirsme en artista y trabajar independientemente.

Convertirse is for the 3rd person singular. When your talking about yourself is in 1st person, so the particle to add to "convertir" is "me".

Es mi sueño porque amo dibujar y soy una persona creativa.

4. La empresa necesitatiene que hacer una reunión para revisar el presupuesto.

5. Selina no puede venir porque necesita ir al iglesia cada domingo.

6. Los atletas comen pocao azúcar para estar en forma.

7. El grupo de gente madruga porque son enestán haciendo un experimento sobre dormir.

This sentence doesn't make a lot of sense? I might need how the sentence would be in English, because even if I can understand what is trying to say, it just feels like a weird way to say it.

8. ¿Vosotros tenéis cCuántos perros tenéis?

In this type of question is weird to add the pronoun. The structure of the sentence is also incorrect.

Necesito el nombre para comprar bastante comida.

Ok, this one doesn't make sense to me. I can't correct it because it's grammatically fine and I don't understand what it's trying to say.

9. Escribo muchos diarios en español para practicar ye incrementar mi vocabulario.

When you use "y" but the next word and an "i" sound you replace "y" with "e". It's like the use of "a" or "an" with "an apple" "a person".

Nosotros leemos este libro porque el autor es talentoso.

This is like sentence 7. It's not wrong per se, it's just that it sounds unnatural. In English it would be "We read (in present) this book because the author is talented". It doesn't sound more natural in English (at least in my opinion).

Feedback

I'm sorry if my comments sound too mean or something like that. I understand that language learning is a difficult process, and it's not like Spanish is the easiest language of the world (specially with verb conjugations). Keep studying and practicing! Good luck!

I was trying to say "(I need to know how many there are/I need to know the number) to buy enough food".

Ok! Then it would be "Necesito saber cuántos son para comprar suficiente comida para todos" or "Necesito saber cuántos son para comprar la comida necesaria para todos". There are many other ways to say it.
(What you said originally was "I need the name to buy a lot of food". "El nombre" is "the name", and "bastante" is "very", "much" or "a lot". I added the "para todos" because it makes the sentences sound more natural, at least in my opinion".)

I was trying to say that the group of people wake up early because they are participating in an experiment about sleep.

Ok! Then I think the best way to say it would be "Ellos madrugan porque están formando parte de un experimento sobre dormir." The use of "el grupo de gente" makes it sound unnatural, and after thinking about it for some time, I came to the conclusion that the best way to say that they're participating in something is "están formando parte". Of course, you could also say tht they're "participando". If you use "participando", then the sentence is "Ellos madrugan porque están participando en un experimento sobre dormir".
