If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you move and why? Intermediate to advanced: What makes the place you move to better than where you currently are? What would you miss about your current city/area?

If I can stay abroad for a long time, I would choose Australia or New Zealand.
First of all, there is no or few time difference between Japan and the two countries. I can contact with my friends or family easily. Second, these countries are thought to be safe and comfortable. Japanese people are vulnerable to crimes like pickpocket, scam and violence cases because we hardly ever get involved with them in Japan. (Of course, it doesn't mean that there is no crimes in Japan. Sexual harassments in a crowded train and violence cases especially in a school or a household have been a controversial for several decades.) Finally, oceanian countries have modern cities rich in nature. I'm longing to see a starly sky every weekends.

I felt very safe when I lived in Japan. Being able to take a walk at night is something I can't imagine in America as a female. No matter which country you go to, I recommend carrying all your belongings with you wherever you go!
