New Year's Wishes and Resolutions

I found it enjoyable to create a video with an English dub every day. Yesterday, I made a video talking about my New Year's wishes: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/BT5GbB2pEDg

I usually set New Year's Resolutions with breakdown plans before the Chinese New Year.

It's a good thing that there's a gap between the Gregorian calendar and the Chinese New Year. We can focus on the private New Year's resolution on the Chinese calendar, because it's always busy with business things before and after the Gregorian New Year.

You too :)

I found(find / am finding) it enjoyable to create a video with an English dubvoice over every day.

"find" vs "am finding" -> "find" states it as a simple fact that is generally true, while "am finding" puts a bit more focus on it being true in the current moment (which can imply either it's a recent discovery, or that you're uncertain if it will remain true). Either is fine language wise, it depends on what impression you want to give.

"an English dub" implies an English voice over that replaces a voice over that was originally in some other language. Since you are only making these videos in English (I think?), it's more natural to just call it a voice over.

I usually set New Year's Resolutions with break(detailed / broken down) plans before the Chinese New Year.

We can focus on the private New Year's resolution on(s) for the Chinese calendar, because it's always busy with business things before and after the Gregorian New Year.

I’m still not sure about the last sentence, so I’ve offered three different interpretations. If you’d like to explain it I’d be happy to correct it again. :-)

Thanks, Tammy, it’s all clear to me now and I’ve revised my correction. Your point makes a lot of sense. Now I wish that our big holiday season were separated from the end of the fiscal year, too.… :-)
