I’ve chosen a new name, Iris. Does it sound strange? I don’t really understand how to pick English names.

Iris doesn’t sound strange for a female but would be very unusual if you were male. The name Iris usually refers to the 鸢尾属 plant and its flowers, not to the part of the eye (虹膜) or to a color.

haha fair… its a big decision. its more important than a good username for sure. maybe ask ChatGPT. i asked him what an Olivia, Kimberly and Annie would be like and which would be considered the coolest and i think it kind of nailed it. so maybe just run your ideas by chat and it will let you know the cliché vibe!

hmm. nice! the closest english name to that someone would actually be called could be Larissa for instance! Sounds like a great option :) Or Kris. Thats more of a male name but with the K it could go either way really.
