My Two Musical Instruments
I am currently practicing Oboe that is one kind of woodwind instrument.
Originally, I wanted to learn flute when I was an elementary school student.
When I was a student, the flute was too expensive to buy and I had to spend a monthly training fee.
Because of my budget, I couldn't learn it before I was a graduate school student.
For two years in the graduate school, I finally learned with a second hand flute.
After I joined my company, I also practiced and participated in an amature orchestra.
On day, in the orchestra, I listened to sound of Oboe very first time.
I was blown away by the sound, I changed my instrument from flute to oboe at last.
The fingering of flute and oboe are similar, so it wasn't difficult to learn.
When making a sound, flute needs no reed, but Oboe needs to use double reeds.
Besides the oboe reeds doesn't make by the factory, so a player should make his own reeds.
These figures are big huddle for newbies.
I don't care about it because I really wanted to learn it.
Now I can play it pretty much.
저는 현재 목관악기의 일종인 오보에를 연습하고 있습니다.
원래는, 초등 학생일 때 플룻을 배우고 싶었어요.
제가 학생일 때는, 플룻은 사기에 너무 비쌌고, 매달 수업료를 내야만 했어요.
예산이 부족해서, 저는 대학원생이 될 때까지 그것을 배울 수가 없었네요.
대학원 2년 동안, 저는 마침내 중고 플룻으로 배우게 되었습니다.
회사에 취직한 후에도, 연습을 계속 했고 아마추어 오케스트라에 가입을 했어요.
어느날, 오케스트라에서, 저는 처음으로 오보에 소리를 듣게 되었습니다.
그 소리에 빠지게 되어서, 마침내 저는 악기를 플룻에서 오보에로 바꿨습니다.
플룻과 오보에의 운지법은 비슷해서, 배우는게 어렵지 않았어요.
소리를 낼 때, 플룻은 리드가 필요가 없지만, 오보에는 더블리드를 사용해야 합니다.
게다가 오보에 리드는 공장에서 만들지 않기에, 연주자가 직접 만들어야해요.
이런 특징들이 초보자들에게는 큰 진입장벽이 되지요.
너무 그것을 배우고 싶었기에 그런 어려움을 저는 신경쓰지 않았습니다.
지금은 어느 정도 연주를 할 수 있게 되었습니다.
