My Family's Old Shop

When I was young, my house was nearby our family's store.

The shop sold clothes, blankets, fabrics, silks and so on.

My grand family and my mother always were there and operating the store.

My brother and I used to play the store, jumping between goods, trying to open and close the shop window and helping to calculate money.

When out-of-business sales, my grandfather seemed sad.

Now that I think about it, the shop was his everything and many memories were there.

Getting older, I can understand him better.

I'm not sure if you meant 'when it went out of business' or if you meant 'when there were no more sales to be made'

Now that I think about it, the shop was his everything and many memories were made there.

Getting older, I can understand him better.

Feedback

The store sounds like it was a really nice experience (:
