In English we always use the verb "to be", but in Spanish "Ser" is different from "Estar"! Here, we use "Ser", because we are talking about your characteristics. If we were saying, for example, that you are somewhere, we would use "estoy". Also we would use it if we were expressing something you are feeling at an specific moment, such as "I am sad", which would be "Estoy triste". But nuevo is a charasteristic, so we use "Soy".

If it was right next to a name, then it would be "correcto" because it would be an adjective. But, it is an adverb, so we add the "-mente" at the end. The verb part is harder to explain. It would be correct to say something like "Espero que lo haga correctamente", but it sounds unnatural, and it uses subjuntivo, which is harder to learn as an English speaker. It can also be confused with the third person that way. So it is easier if, anytime you have the verb "esperar" and you are talking about yourself, you use the infinitive right after.

It would be correct to use "pensar".

Como no has establecido que es lo que estás haciendo, no puedes ocupar “lo”, ocupas “esto”.

Indicaciones está bien, pero “posts” sería más claro

La palabra ojalá hace que la oración ocupe el subjuntivo
