An Elementary School

Today I went to the elementary school with my family.
It didn't change at all, suggesting nostalgia feelings.

The running track next to the playground had red and blue lanes, and it's surrounded by grass and trees. The track curved gently ahead, and there were soccer goals on the both side next to it. The weather looked calm and pleasant.

There was also an outdoor basketball court in it, which has some basketball hoops. The court was surrounded by trees and buildings.

I also went to see classrooms, walking down the hallway, and there was a covered roof overhead. today was hoilday, so I couldn't see any students around. Outside the building, there were some trees, and the school looked quiet and peaceful overall.

Today I went to the elementary school with my family. Today I went to the elementary school with my family.

This is correct, but considering saying "today I went to my old elementary school..." to add context.

It didn't change at all, suggesting nostalgia feelings.

It didn't change at all, suggesting nostalgiac feelings. It didn't change at all, suggesting nostalgic feelings.

either use nostalgia as an adjective i.e. "nostalgic", or write "feelings of nostalgia"

It didn't change at all, suggesting feelings of nostalgia feelings. It didn't change at all, suggesting feelings of nostalgia.

or "nostalgic feelings"

It didn't change at all, suggesting nostalgia feelings.made me nostalgic because it hadn't changed at all. It made me nostalgic because it hadn't changed at all.

The running track next to the playground had red and blue lanes, and it'was surrounded by grass and trees. The running track next to the playground had red and blue lanes, and was surrounded by grass and trees.

or The running track next to the playground has red and blue lanes and is surrounded by grass and trees.} verb tenses should usually agree. either past tense or present tense, but not both unless you are highlighting a contrast like: The running track next to the playground had red and blue lanes, and now it's surrounded by grass and trees. See the difference?

The running track next to the playground had red and blue lanes, and it's surrounded by grass and trees. The running track next to the playground had red and blue lanes, and it's surrounded by grass and trees.

You change the tense from past tense "had" to present tense "it's."

The track curved gently ahead, and there were soccer goals on the both side next to it.

The track curved gently ahead, and there were soccer goals on the both sides next to it. The track curved gently ahead, and there were soccer goals on both sides next to it.

if "the" is important to the meaning, you could say "on both of the sides next to it"

The track curved gently ahead, and there were soccer goals on the both side next tos of it. The track curved gently ahead, and there were soccer goals on the both sides of it.

same thing, either curves/are or else curved/were

There was also an outdoor basketball court in it, which has some basketball hoops.

There was also an outdoor basketball court in it, which has some basketball hoops. There was also an outdoor basketball court, which has some basketball hoops.

"in it" makes it more confusing - since it's hard for the reader to know what "it" refers to, since that was less specified multiple sentences ago.

There was also an outdoor basketball court in it, which hasd someeveral basketball hoops. There was also an outdoor basketball court in it, which had several basketball hoops.

It would be expected for a basketball court to have basketball hoops, so the "which has some basketball hoops" part should either be removed or should have some more detail added to make it less redundant. It would be like if I said "There was a tennis court, which has tennis nets." Compare that with "There was a tennis court with old and tattered nets." or something. You see the difference?

There was also an outdoor basketball court in it, which haswith some basketball hoops. There was also an outdoor basketball court with some basketball hoops.

It's redundant to say the basketball court had basketball hoops.

The court was surrounded by trees and buildings.

The basketball court was surrounded by trees and buildings. The basketball court was surrounded by trees and buildings.

It's unusual to say "court" to refer to a basketball court - typically without the description a reader will think of criminal court, so I'd specify when you can.

I also wentalked down the hallway to see the classrooms, walking down the hallway, and there was a covered roof overhead. I also walked down the hallway to see the classrooms, and there was a covered roof overhead.

you have a series of actions here: going down the hallway, seeing classrooms, and noticing a roof. They should match a bit more in style, so this could be another version: I also went to see the classrooms, walked down the hallway, and noticed a covered roof overhead.

I also went to see classrooms, walkinged down the hallway, and there was a covered roof overhead. I also went to see classrooms, walked down the hallway, and there was a covered roof overhead.

today was hoilday, so I can't see any students in the classrooms.

There were trees outside, and the school look quiet and peaceful overall.

today was hoilday, so I couldn't see any students around.

tToday was hoila holiday, so I couldn't see any students around. Today was a holiday, so I couldn't see any students around.

tToday was hoiliday, so I couldn't see any students around. Today was holiday, so I couldn't see any students around.

I don't know if it is a British English thing to say "holiday" versus "a holiday", but maybe double check that.

today was hoila holiday, so I couldn't see any students around. today was a holiday, so I couldn't see any students around.

maybe say "there weren't any students around" instead of that you couldn't see them.

Outside the building, there were some trees, and the school looked quiet and peaceful overall.
