Your recent replies gave me two surprises. One is Chinese writing last time, another is speaking Mandarin this time. It is not like a foreigner who is speaking Mandarin, it's actually like a Chinese person who is doing so.
I even think you can actually speak Mandarin, but you just pretend not to. I don't have enough confidence to speak Mandarin in front of you now.
I also like the smell of freshly cut grass, and the smell of the air after a heavy storm because they smell very fresh. I also like the smell of gardenia. Its scent is very strong.
The land area of China is very large. As far as I know, apart from Russia and Canada, it's China. Canada is only 380000 square kilometers larger than China.
China has vast land and abundant resources and beautiful scenery. You are welcome to visit China as soon as possible.
Your recent replies gave me two surprises.surprised me twice.
One is Chinese writing last time, another is speaking Mandarin this time.Last time, I was surprised by your proficiency in writing Mandarin. However, this time I was surprised by how well you spoke Mandarin.
I'm assuming you're talking about how well the other person wrote in Mandarin "last time".
It is notYou don't speak like a foreigner who is speaking Mandarin, it's actually like a Chinese person who is doing so., you sound like a native Chinese person.
Or: You sound like a native Mandarin speaker, not a foreigner. I added "you" for consistency and to maintain that sense of "talking to someone else" that you've established. I feel like starting with "It is not like" feels too indirect. I added "native" just for clarity and specificity- considering how non-native Chinese people might not be fluent in Mandarin (Chinese diaspora/华裔 like me are an example of people that fall into that category)
I even think you can actually speak Mandarin, but you just pretend not to.you can't.
even wasn't necessary. "you can't" is more specific with respect to not being able to speak, which I believe was your point.
I don't have enough confidence to speak Mandarin in front of you now.
China has vast land and, abundant resources, and beautiful scenery.
