After our visit tof the temple, we went to the Hirosaki Castle.

It was one of the last authentic japanese Castles built during the Edo period.

Today, only remains twelve japanese Castles of this period remain.

First off, we passed a beautiful red bridge which contrasted with the immaculate snow.

On the park of the CastleCastle grounds, I saw my favorite tree :

A ginkgo Biloba, which was approximately aged three thousand years old.

I love the significationnce and the story of this tree.

Unfortunately, heit didn't have any leaf on this periods at the time, but heit was still magnificencet with hit's big roots.

HiIt's walls were white and the roof was something likea kind of dark green.

HeIt was nice, but in thisat season, everything was closed, so we couldn't visit anything.

So we just walked on the parkgrounds covered by the snow.

Even the river was frozen!

OIn spring, the parc isgrounds are full of cherry trees that are blossoming, with pink and white flowers.

I think it could be incredeibly beautiful.

After thise walk, the snow wasstarted falling a lot, so we were onnt to the only open cafe : Starbucks.

It was my first time oin this type of coffeeshop, but I was suprised by the quality of the architecture of the building.

For the first time, I spoke in japanese to ask for a hot chocolate and a very good pastery with cream and matcha.

The girls who worked there wasere very kind.

We took a placeseat next to the window, because I wanted to see the snow fall.
