I study with my friends these days

I graduated from university last month, and most of my friends are scattered for work. However, some of my friends are near my living place. So, I study with them every week. I learn English for studying, the others look for a job, study a specialized field because she is a graduate student. When I study something with my friends, I can focus on it more than I study alone because I can watch at them who make an effort to do something, and I got the motivation. Until I study abroad, I'm going to brush up on my English while we improve together through friendly rivalry.

"The motivation" = the motivation to do *something* in particular. This one is used less often.

Oh, okay. I think you just left out a word or two.
I would use the present progressive here.

"I'm learning English, my friends are looking for a job, and my other friend is studying a specialized field because she's a graduate student."

However, some of my friends are near my living place.
