Homesickness

Now I'm looking at pictures of Switzerland, the place where my partner dreams of living (although we are not that rich now), and I feel absolutely nothing. Undoubtedly, this country is perfect. It looks like a dream. I used to desire to move to Switzerland too, but I've realized how much my home country means to me. Before searching for photos of Switzerland, I looked for pictures of the town where I was born. It's small and dangerous. There are no prospects. I moved away many years ago. I'm improving my skills, building a career... However, my heart is still there. I can't help myself.

I have no idea how I will cope with homesickness being thousands of kilometers away from my lovely town if I can't tolerate a distance of only one thousand. My work schedule is so disappointing. I work five days a week. Of course, I have no time to visit the town, my family and my friends. I also can't live there because, as I said before, there are no prospects at all. I'm a developer. The town is kind of old-fashioned (or just technologically backward). It's unlikely that I will find anything there. You would say: "What about a remote job?" Well, I'm not experienced enough for that. I have to be where I am. Moreover, my partner would never agree to move to a small town.

My life is not that bad. I just wanted to share this contradiction. Have you ever felt this way?

Homesickness

Now I'm looking at pictures of Switzerland, the place where my partner dreams of living (although we are not that rich now), and I feel absolutely nothing.

Undoubtedly, this country is perfect.

It looks like a dream.

I used to desire to move to Switzerland too, but I've realized how much my home country means to me.

Before searching for photos of Switzerland, I looked for pictures of the town where I was born.

You would say: "What about a remote job?"

Well, I'm not experienced enough for that.

Moreover, my partner would never agree to move to a small town.

My life is not that bad.

I just wanted to share this contradiction.

Have you ever felt this way?

most if not all of these sentences are grammatically correct, but you threw like 500 facts in my face. you need to connect them and use commas

Could you please explain what you mean? Should I combine some sentences instead of writing them separately? I didn't get it

NRight now I'm looking at pictures of Switzerland, the place where my partner dreams of living (although we are nodon't that rich nowve enough money currently), and I feel absolutely nothing.

Starting the sentence with "now" implies that you're continuing from something else and it doesn't sound natural :)

I changed "we are not that rich now" as it doesn't sound natural but it's completely correct :)

I used to desirewant to move to Switzerland too, but I've realized how much my home country means to me.

"Desire" is a good word but it tends to mean like a deep want and something you really, really want and wouldn't necessarily fit here :)

I have no idea how I will cope with homesickness being thousands of kilometers away from my lovely town if I can't tolerate a distance of only one thousand.

My work schedule is so disappointing.

"Disappointing" might not work here - maybe "heavy" or "packed"?

Of course, I have no time to visit the town, own or my family and my friends.

"To go down town" can be a more idiomatic way of saying "to visit town".

You wcould say: "What about a remote job?"

I used to desire to move to Switzerland, too, but I've realized how much my home country means to me.

For simplicity's sake, you could also replace "desire" with "want." If you feel like "desire" is more accurate to what you felt about Switzerland, though, feel free to ignore this.

I think it's better to add a comma after every item you list for the sake of consistency. If you don't see the need for it, though, you don't need to add it.

Your feelings are absolutely valid! I'm not sure I'd actually be able to handle moving away to mine or somebody else's dream destination, either.
