Yeah, we'd refer to them as TV shows :) Or sometimes TV series. So, it's pretty common for someone to say, "I love the Doctor Who series," or, "The Mentalist is such a good TV show."
As a side note, it sucks that it's so hard to watch foreign content... I don't want to pay for a VPN 😑
