We recently had a big story in China where a student from Chengdu 49 Middle School fell down from a building and died. Their parents don't find a person who know the situation. An anonymous user claimed on the internet that it was his classmate, and the whole class was cautioned that anyone who told would be disciplined and would not be able to take the college entrance exam.
I don't know exactly what happened, but it reminded me of something I experienced in high school. In my junior high school, a boy climbed up the earth sculpture in the school and then accidently fell down and died. In my high school, a boy died suddenly on the first day of the school's mandatory morning run. None of these things generated news coverage, and they were all successfully forced down by the school.
Today is the anniversary of the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake. Many children died when school houses collapsed, and some of the tragedy was due to poor quality construction. Until now, there is no official report on the findings of the quality of the school buildings and no apology to the parents who lost their children because of the poor quality of the houses.
Sad :(

"what happened" is more natural here

Wow, this sounds really horrible :(
Seems like there are a lot of cover ups. It's really unfair to the parents...
