Diary: Cheating Time

I posted two articles on one day, then the day after that I didn't post any articles, then the next day I was shocked to find that the streak disappeared. I have to admit that it was my mistake. Then I was going to write a Journal about how I was going to firmly practice what I wrote in my German diary - focus more on learning results than on the data presented. But then I suddenly remembered that the two posts were written in the morning and in the evening, so I might be able to recover by adjusting the time zone. Then the streak resumed...😅

Diary: Cheating Time

I posted two articles on one day, then the day after that I didn't post any articles, then the next day I was shocked to find that the streak had disappeared.

In formal writing, the repetition of "then" might not be ideal, but I think it works well here stylistically.

I have to admit that it was my mistake.

Then I was going to write a Jjournal about how I was going to firmly practice seriously what I wrote about in my German diary - focus more on learning results than on the data presented.

"Firmly" tends to be used with actions ("Remember to firmly close the refrigerator door") or with verbs describing speech ("I firmly reminded her that it was too late to submit her homework").
"Learning results" as opposed to "the data presented" is a little confusing, since I would expect "learning results" to refer to some sort of data that has been collected.

But then I suddenly remembered that the two posts were written in the morning and in the evening, so I might be able to recover by adjusting the time zone.

Then the streak resumed...😅

Feedback

If you've been following the discussions on the forum and on the Discord, it turns out that streaks are calculated based on a specific timezone, rather than the one that users have selected, if I'm not mistaken. Glad to hear that you were able to resume your streak though!
