Today is not a good day. I was woken up 4 times last night by my roommates, who woke me up by going to bed very loudly and closing the balcony door very loudly. They always claim to be doing "academic work" - a 6,000 word paper they've spent almost a year on and haven't finished! The last time was close to 5am and I got up in a huff. Then I skipped school for the day. I've been preparing for NEEP (the national entrance examination for postgraduate), and if I go to school classes, I won't be able to keep up with the online classes I bought. The quality of teaching in online classes is much better than in schools. But I will probably go to the evening class because that course only has two sessions a semester.

Today is not a good day.
This is grammatical, but I would say, "Today has not been a good day."
I was woken up 4 times last night by my roommates, who woke me up by going to bed very loudly and closing the balcony door very loudly.
In this situation, writing the number as a digit works, somehow, but normally, it's best to write small numbers (up to debate, but less than 10 is generally always considered "small") as words.
They always claim to be doing "academic work" - a 6,000 word paper they've spent almost a year on and haven't finished!
The last time was close to 5am and I got up in a huff.
Then I skipped school for the day.
I've been preparing for the NEEP (the national entrance examination for postgraduate admissions), and if I go to school classes, I won't be able to keep up with the online classes I bought.
The quality of teaching in online classes is much better than that in schools.
The original would be acceptable to the average person, but ideally comparisons should be fully written out.
But I will probably go to themy evening class because that course only has two sessions a semester.
Or: "my class in the evening." The original is grammatical, but I prefer this wording, especially because "evening class" by itself could be referring to a specific type of course.
