degrowth

As I am listener to 6 minutes English at the BBC website, I want to speak about degrowth. What does it mean ? Today in a world where there is a climate change we need to save our planet. In this podcast, the topic suggests to decrease the human impacts on earth. That means change the way to produce, reduce the way to consume. Some fancy rituals like making a trip with jet are costful for the planet. I am sure we can reduce some habits, be more respectful with animals, and be focus on the climate changes. At the end of century, the temperature will be increased to 1.5 degree celsius. This is just unrespectful for the next generation of humans. Another thing is to use technology like AI to optimize our way of life. What do you thing in general about this topic ?

Corrections

As I amI listenerd to 6 minutes of English aton the BBC website, and I want to speak about degrowth.

"I am a listener" is used for more general statements. "I listened" is used when it is a specific amount of time

What does it mean ?

Today in a world where there is a climate change we need to save our planet.

Do not need "a"

In this podcast, the topic suggests to decrease the human impacts on earth.

That means change the way tos we produce, and reduce the way towe consume.

Some fancy rituals like making a trip within a jet are costfuly for the planet.

"in a jet" sounds more natural

I am sure we can reduce some habits, be more respectful with animals, and be focus on the climate changes.

At the end of century, the temperature will be increased to 1.5 degree celsius.

While technically correct, "will increase" sounds more natural.

This is just undisrespectful for the next generation of humans.

Another thing is to use technology like AI to optimize our way of life.

Titles are normally capitalised as proper nouns.

What does it mean ?

No space before question marks, only after them.

Today in a world where there is a climate change we need to save our planet.

"climate change" is uncountable, so no "a"

In this podcast, the topic suggests to decreaseing the human impacts on earth.

That means changeing the way towe produce, and reduceing the way toamount e consume.

Some fancy ritualhabits like mtaking a trip with jetby plane are costfuly for the planet.

"rituals" has two uses - one is for religious use, and the other is for intentional habits where the habit itself is a goal. The latter usage is quite tricky. For something like taking a trip by plane, usually the point is not the trip itself, but the destination, so "ritual" isn't really appropriate here.

I am sure we can reduce some habits, be more respectful withto animals, and be focus on the climate changes.

At the end of century, the temperature will be increased to by 1.5 degree celsius.

"will increase" is a little more natural than "will be increased" here

"increase to 1.5 degrees celsius" = the temperate was less than 1.5 degrees celsius, and will be 1.5 degrees celsius
"increase by 1.5 degrees celsius" = the temperate will be 1.5 degrees celsius higher than it is now

This is just undisrespectful forto the next generation of humans.

What do you thingk in general about this topic ?
