The phrase 'About English' is grammatically correct, but very vague or misleading. it leads one to believe you are going to talk about the language ( like a study or dissertation of the language itself.) But your journal is talking about your day-to-day usage and study of the language.

The sentence is correct, but it is a little too long. So break it up a bit to make it easier for your readers to understand

When you have two complete sentences, you cannot use a comma in between them. Either use a period or semi-colon.
