I've been writing in English for a while. Many people have given me lots of helpful suggestions.
I've gradually realized that if a sentence feels off the moment you finish writing it, it's very likely wrong. In other words, how confident you feel about a sentence matters a lot.
I used to write many clunky sentenses and still feel good about them.
However, people would often delete the entire sentence and give me a completey new one instead in their feedback. So I think it's best to write within my ability.
However, people would often delete the entire sentence and give me a completely new one instead in their feedback.,
Sso I think it's best to write within my ability.
We can't use "so" to start sentences, but only to connect them.

You write really well!

(I wrote a comment before, but it was lost when I submitted it. This time I'll save a temporary copy in case it gets lost.)
Your English is very good. I just wanted to say that I'm not sure your conclusions, as expressed, follow from your initial statements. First you say that if you don't feel confident about a sentence, it's likely wrong. But then you say that you used to feel confident about sentences even though they were clunky. It feels like the conclusion to be reached is not just that you need to write within your ability, but that writing complicated sentences that are both correct and natural may fall outside your ability, so it's better to stay with simpler sentences, at least for a while. Basically, you're trying to refine your confidence so that it matches your ability. It's an ongoing process because both your confidence and your ability will continue to evolve.
I appreciate your insight because this is a lesson that I've had to learn myself. When I'm speaking or writing, I want to be funny and surprising and communicate concepts that are not obvious. However, if I try to do that in a language where my skills aren't good enough yet, I'll just end up confusing people.

I had to go through your paragraph with a fine tooth comb to fine the mistakes, and they were just 2 typos - so excellent work. You're killing it!
