Cyprus is located in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

Cyprus Island was inhabited by humans about 8,000 years ago.
The Old Testament refers to Cyprus as Kittim.
Cyprus is mentioned five times in the New Testament, all of which are in Acts.
In the 12th century BC, the Greeks began to migrate to Cyprus.
As a result, Cyprus has been deeply influenced by Greek culture.
The official language of Cyprus is Greek, and English is also widely spoken.
