I used to get bitten by a mosquitoes, but I’m no longer getting bites lately,
I guess there are fewer mosquitoes now because the summer is too hot even for them.


以前はよく蚊に刺されていましたが、最近ではあまりさされません。
あまりの暑さに蚊も少なくなったのかもしれません。

Good! We usually say 'getting bitten' instead of 'getting bites'. It sounds a bit more natural as "I'm no longer getting bitten", BUT you could also say "I haven't been bitten lately". It just sounds a *little* bit unnatural when you use both.
