The Goose's Song

The white fur floats above the water.
Red feet paddle the waters clear and clear.

Bending its neck as it sings to the sky.
The wWhite fureathers floats above the water.
Geese have feathers, not fur. Removing "the" was a stylistic choice to match "Red feet" below.
Red feet paddle the waters clear and clear.
I don't really know how to correct this without it sounding weird but "clear and clear" sounds a bit off.
