Personally, I can't really remember that I have received a gift that is so bad it would immediatly come to my mind, but me and my friend have a little joke about this topic.
My two longest friends and me know eachother since 5th grade, so since we were around 11. We went to the same school for some time until I changed schools.
Of course over the last many years we celebrated a lot of birthdays together.
Thing is, in the time from 5th grade to around 8th or 9th grade one of my friends would gift the other one each year a little bathing set including some body wash, lotion, and sometimes bath bombs.
Not that it's a bad gift ! But since she received it every year, my friend had a whole shelf of bath stuff at a point (and the slight paranoia that she smells).
We then proceeded to kindly tell my gift giving friend that the thought behind it is very nice, but why don't we "switch things up" and try some new things.
She agreed and since then we have gotten more creative.
But I am a 100 % sure that my friend still has some body wash bottles of this time line in her bathroom.

each other is two words
But I am a 100 % sure that my friend still has some body wash bottles ofrom this time lined in her bathroom.
'from' would be used more instead of 'of', no space between 100 and %, lined instead of line.

Your english is really good! There were just a few tiny things here and there.

If you want to say that you continuously did something in the past (it can still be applicable in the present, since you still know these friends), you should use the structure of "have + past tense verb".
Of course over the last many years we have celebrated a lot of birthdays together.

When speaking, you should say "a hundred percent" or "one hundred percent". You would never say "a one hundred percent". And, since in writing 100 looks like "one hundred" you wouldn't also add "a".

Funny story :) I'm glad your friend understood that she should stop giving toiletries as a gift lol
