The mMarijuana is leganl in 40 states, but at the same time it´s illegal under federal law and is classified as a Schedule I drug - among the most dangerous.

When talking about things in general, we'll usually use a plural form. Like, "Horses like to eat apples". However, "marijuana" is similar to "deer" or "dirt" in that it is either singular or plural based on context.

Marijuana is federally recognized in the United States as a Schedule I drug. Note that this number is in roman numeral form: I, II, III, IV, and so on.

So, President Trump is trying isto reclassify the drug as less dangerous.

But his Justice Department was seeking to uphold a law that makes it a crime punishable by up to 15 years in prison for a marihjuana user to own a gun.

This creates confusions about whether it is legal or illegal.

Alix McLearen considered that Psychologists in the bureau of thetalked about how psychologists working in prisons do so many things.

Thaey are re-entry professionals.

I'm pretty sure that, whenever there's a "re-" on a word starting with "e", we might use a hyphen "-" to make it easier to read.

So not only are they doing what you would traditionally think of a psychologist doing a, like with clinical work, but they´'re also working to help people plan for their re-entry into society.

Some things don´t just impact them, but impactalso the entire community ofwithin the facility, the staff and the people who are incarcerated there.

The fact ofis that people don´t prioritize the hiring of psychologists or the fact being considered, and when they do, they only consider them to be correctional workers first, which means that they donly serve law enforcement functions.

Unfortunately, I'm a bit confused by "or the fact being considered correctional workers first". Feel free to ignore my corrections after that part if I've misunderstood it.

The system creates a crisis and instability because what the psychologists are doing areis transforming any risk that arrives into some kindrt of actionable steps toward safety, instatead of recejust giving the support theyinmates requiere to refrain from self-harm.
