Episonden-A Language Practice Platform
I have been persevering in speaking practice on Episonden, so I write less dairy entry than before. On Episonden, I can practice speaking with strangers by several minutes video calls. Usually, we can't understand each other very clearly, but we can get the general meaning of what each other is saying.
Looking back, most people I met there are Filipino and Indian. I think the reason is we are in similar time zones.
I am striving to look for an English speaking environment because environment is really important for language learning.

The meaning is a little confusing in your sentence. On the one hand, the Episonden platform IS an English speaking environment, so you have already found one. On the other hand, it isn't ideal because it's hard for you and your speaking partners to understand each other.
I tried to correct the sentence so that it wouldn't have a contradiction. Another option might be:
"The reason I'm looking for a good English speaking environment is because environment is really important for language learning."

Perhaps there is a site based in New Zealand at 4-5 hours ahead of China?
When I taught Chinese students online, it was usually the exact opposite time: morning for me and evening for them.
The UK is 8 hours behind China, so you might be able to do a morning/evening call there as well.

Thanks for your meticulous corrections, they are really helpful to me. In the last sentence, I meant that I wanted to find another environment. I don't know if there's a site based in New Zealand.

I read online that on free language exchanges, you will encounter some people who are not there because they want to improve their skills. People who mentioned this said you can block someone if that happens.
