A Good Idea

I woke up around four this morning again. Afterwards, I went to pee and worked on some English learning tasks.

A few days ago, I searched on the RedNote and found some information on one-on-one speaking practice with native speakers.

I think the lesson price and duration are reasonable.

Each lesson lasts only 25 minutes, which I think is the best duration for ESL learners. If the lesson exceeds 25 minutes, learners will feel tired and can't concentrate on their studies.

Before, I knew about the 25-minute lesson, but it is only offered by Filipino teachers. It's very hard to access a 25-minute class offered by a native speaker.

On the RedNote, it seems that many people organize the one-on-one speaking practice offered by Northern Americans. The price of the lesson ranges from 30 to 45 RMB.

Before I knew this information, I booked lessons on Italki, an online language learning platform, but the shortest lesson duration is at least 30 minutes and the price is also a little expensive.

Right now, a good idea popped up in my mind: how about practicing speaking with each other on LC? We can help each other with writing. Why don't we help each other with speaking?

If someone is learning Chinese and really wants to practice speaking, feel free to let me know, and I'll be very honored to practice Chinese speaking with you.

With website and app names, you don't need the definite article before the name. (I searched on Google... I saw a video on YouTube... etc.)

North America is the name of the continent where The United States, Canada and several other countries are, and the demonym for these people is "North Americans."

RighJust now, a good idea popped up in my mind: how about practicing speaking with each other on LC?

If something suddenly happened only a few moments ago, it's better to say "just now" instead of "right now".

We canalready help each other with writing.

I think it sounds more convincing to say "already" here, because you're explaining that we're already able to help each other in one way (writing), and then giving another way that we can help each other in the next sentence (speaking.)

Why don't we help each other with speaking?

If someone is learning Chinese and really wants to practice speaking, feel free to let me know, and I'lld be very honored to practice Chinese speaking Chinese with you.

It's better to say I'd (short for "I would") here, because it's a hypothetical situation.

Well done! I've used a website in the past called language.exchange which pairs people who want to learn each other's target languages with each other. Maybe it would be interesting to you too.
