A book I recently read.
At first, I am checking some e-books in my reading app about how to study better, at this situation, things that are commonly related to study, like making plans, or rearranging schedule doesn't satisfy me, I try to look some useful study method.
Finally, I found an e-book that the title sounds doubtful, but the content is great, it let me found my study method.
It told that, no matter how you persuade yourself to work harder, it did no good to the actual study, it will eventually increase the tiredness of the learning process. It seems that the true thing you need is to be kind with yourself whether mind or body, be relax but concentrate during the learning process.

The whole passage is happening in the past so just use the past tense.

A book can't speak, so it can't tell you things or say things, but the author can. The author says; the author tells us; the author stated. It sounds better to say that a book "states" something.
The end I changed because it sounds better stylistically, it creates less doubt about what is making you tired.
