Yesterday's Monopoly match
Yesterday, after finishing my German listening comprehension exam, I had to walk to the library and wait for one hour. Luckily, this library is big and has three reading rooms at the back end, allowing a handful of activities. On one table there was a used Monopoly, I picked it up and called five classmates to play.
The match began normally, we started with 1,500 Monopoly money (MM) and purchased properties as soon as possible. I had only played Monopoly a few times, but I did happen to buy strategic properties, in which I could ask for rent (typically no more than 30 MM).
Things took an unexpected turn when one of my classmates spent around 500-800 MM, bought six houses, and immediately bought one hotel. Everybody was afraid of landing on his hotel, by that point, I'd lost some money and had to sell 3 properties of mine to secure a quantity of MM. Nonetheless, I secured a hotel for myself too, just in case something happened.
Disgracefully, I did happen to land in his hotel and had to pay the amount of 750 MM, I was bordering bankruptcy, but things took a turn when another classmate rolled the dice and got a two, landed on my hotel, and had to pay me 1000 MM. He went bankrupt and had to mortgage all of his properties, I "inherited" all his money.
About the first classmate, I did manage to make him go bankrupt and finally win the game.

私の考えのロンドンです
今週、私の日本語先生はロンドンを書きが尋ねしました。
仕事ので、2ヶ月に1回ぐらい、ロンドンに行ています。
正直、あまりロンドンは好きじゃないです。やること が たくさん あります。例えば、たくさんのレストランと、博物館と、アート展示と、劇場です。たくさんの名所はあります、バッキンガム宮殿と、ビッグ・ベンと、ウェストミンスター寺院です。でも、全部はマジで高くていつも込むです。
私自身、ロンドンの住人が無愛想くて、ストレスくて、いつも文句ばかり言うと思い。特にお金くらい。
イギリスで、ほとんどの高給な仕事はロンドンにあります。
「Fortunately,・ I・don't・need・to・live・in・London. ・I ・work・from・home・and・only・need・to・ go・there・once・in ・a・ while」言うとうしたいです。
東京に住む前で、ロンドン郊外に住んでいました。家賃は高くて、家は押し入でした。パソコンと、自転車と、お金は盗むした。
実は、大体はロンドンは汚くて安全じゃないですと思う。たくさんの場所は安全じゃないです。特に、一人でと夜はです。
イギリスの冬から、日没は早いです。寒くて、ダークくて、特定の場所は怖いです。

Moje obliblené hobby
Moje obliblené hobby je malování. Rád maluju obrazy přírody jako stromy, kvetiny a zviřata. Maluju v svěm pokoji a na vyber mám z mnoha barev. Moje obliblená barva je modrá.
Obvykle maluju o vikendu, kdy mam více času. Občas maluju z prítelem. Společne si užijeme spoustu zabavy a mlivime o našich obrázcích.
Malování přináší mi pocit štěstí a uvolnění. Rád ukazuju své rodině své obrazy. Myslí si, že moje obrazy jsou krásné.

仮名表記②
引き続き昨日の問題について更に調べてみた
私は二次大戦の前の日本はずっと歴史的仮名遣いを使っていたと思っていた。
しかし実際はそうではなさそう。
wikiによると、歴史的仮名遣は契沖と言う人の仮名遣いに基づいて、明治時代になってから普及された規範的仮名遣いなんだということが分かった。
時代によって変化しやすい発音を追いかけることなく、ベースの時代を固定（平安時代の文学作品）し、変化の少ない文法や語源にも基づいたという特徴がある。
契沖の時代でも、彼の仮名遣いと当時の発音の間にずれがあるんだ。
明治時代の前、仮名遣いは規範されていないので、人によってバラバラになるそうだ。
そうだったら、当時の発音そのまま「ほうし」で表記してもおかしくないと思う。
でも当時の発音は本当に「ほうし」なんなのかよくわからない。

La rhétorique
La rhétorique qui s'appelle aussi l'art de parler est une competence vachement utilé. Elle n'a pas l'air impressionant mais les gens sous-éstiment à quel point les simples peuvent avoir une effet sur eux. Une bonne rhétorique est capable d'animer de millier de personnes que dans quelques moments c'est d'ajouter l'huile à une petite feu pour arriver à des grandes flammes.

Meine Reise: Gesundheit, Lernen und Abenteuer
Während der COVID-Zeit habe ich viel Essen bekommen und hatte Kummerspeck. Es war nicht gut für meine Gesundheit.
Jetzt habe ich Wanderlust danach meiner Reise nach Paris und Lille. Ich möchte nächstes Jahr nach Montreal oder Quebec reisen.
Wenn ich Deutsch spreche, gerate ich in Erklärungsnot, weil ich die Wörter nicht fehlen.

私のおすすめのフエの喫茶店は「CongCafé」です。
CongCaféは賑やかな場所にあります。ここには多くの外国人客がいます。 おいしい飲み物がたくさんあります。特に、濃いコーヒーとココナッツミルクの甘さが絶妙にマッチした「ココナッツコーヒー」はおすすめです。
ここに行くと、ベトナムの昔を思い出させるレトロな内装と雰囲気を楽しむことができます。勉強や仕事、友達に会うのにもとても適しています。こちらの喫茶店は、ホーチミンやハノイにも支店がありますが、フエの店舗は特に落ち着いた雰囲気で、街のゆったりとした空気に合っています。
フエに旅行に来た際は、ぜひ訪れてほしい場所です。ベトナムの文化と歴史を感じながら、コーヒーを味わう時間は、忘れられない思い出となるでしょう。

Meeting New Friends Here
I haven't thought of meeting so many friends here at Langcorrect. I received not only corrections, but also detailed explanations and encouraging words.
From my perspective, there're pros and cons studying in this community.
On the positive side, this is a platform where we can receive opinions from international friends and interact with them. Furthermore, we could help other learners with our native languages.
However, being a digital platform, I've found my correctors offering so many details that it's hard to remember them all. Maybe I should jot down some notes, but my time is limited. We just learn our languages and help others at our time intervals, aren't we?
How do you balance writing and correcting? And any trick for retention?

Emails Disappears
As a follow-up to my previous entry.
The moment I glimpsed the email confirming some money transferred to my daughter was unforgettable. I checked both my daughter's and my email on a desktop computer instead of a smartphone. Astonishingly, Outlook mail has a special link on the top of the Deleted Item folder, which can recover messages from Deleted Items. However, only shows titles, and excludes the content of the deleted message. When I clicked the link, I couldn't believe my eyes. Both of us have "received" the messages that confirmed I sent the money, and my daughter also "received" the money. There were three separate transactions on the day, totalling $3000. It was evident, that both Email accounts were hacked and unknown individuals tried to hide in our account, they were planning to gradually use up my money.
This case reminds us that some email apps like Outlook on the desktop and smartphone have some small differences, but they are critical.

T3-le rôle de la télé
De nos jours, le rôle de la télévision dans l'éducation des enfants divise l'opinion publique. D'un côté, certaines personnes estiment que la télé apporte des connaissances variées et utiles aux individus. Cependant, d'autres croient que regarder la télé pendant de longues heures peut entraîner une perte de temps, limitant les activités extérieures.
À ce sujet, il est indéniable que la télé élargit les connaissances dans divers domaines de la vie.
Premièrement, grâce aux émissions d’actualité, les individus peuvent se tenir informés avec des informations vérifiées. Néanmoins, l'Internet peut diffuser des informations fausses, affectant ainsi les croyances des téléspectateurs.
Par ailleurs, la télé peut être une alternative pour les enfants issus de familles modestes, leur permettant de découvrir le monde sans voyager.
En conclusion, malgré certains inconvénients, la télévision contribue au développement des individus en fournissant des informations et des connaissances essentielles.

Una delle mie abitudini più peggiori è la tendenza di fare la “ritardataria”. Ho quasi sempre avuto problemi con l’arrivare in orario, cosicché il mio superlativo nello yearbook che abbiamo nei licei americani è stato “quello più in ritardo”. Non so la causa esatta di questo problema, ma probabilmente ha a che fare con la mia diagnosi dell’ADHD. Sebbene io sia in un ambiente nuovo, questa brutta abitudine continua, al punto che i miei colleghi di classe ne accorgono quando arrivo in orario. Ma sul lato positivo, recentemente mi sono risolta ad arrivare in orario e durante le ultime due settimane ci sono riuscita, arrivando a volte in anticipo dell’inizio delle lezioni!

Pläne für mein langes Wochenende
Dieses Wochenende nehme ich an den New-York-City-Marathon teil. Mein jünger Bruder, der in Chicago wohnt, wird bei mir übernachten, weil er nimmt auch a den Marathon teil. Ich laufe jedes Jahr dieses Rennen, aber das ist die erste Zeit für meinen Brüder.
Sein Flug landet Morgen am Laguardia Flughafen um ca. 9:00 Uhr. Er wird mit einem Taxi zu meiner Wohnung fahren, weil es viel schneller als die U-Bahn ist. Das Fährt im Taxi dauert nur 20 Minuten aber im vergleich dauert das Fährt in Öffentlichenverkehrsmittel über 90 Minuten!
Sobald er ankommt, fahren wir zur Marathon-Expo, um unsere Rennensachen abzuholen, zum Bespiel unsere Startnummern und so weiter. Normalerweise ist die Marathon-Expo sehr stressig, weil das Rennen über 50.000 Teilnehmer hat, deshalb die Ausstellungshalle voll, laut und heiß ist.
Später machen wir ein Bootsfährt auf dem Hudson River. Der Zeil der Bootsfahrt ist buntbelaubten Bäumen zu sehen. Ich hoffe, dass es nicht zu spät ist, schöne Farben zu sehen. Das Wetter ist immer noch ziemlich angenehm, deshalb ich denke, wir werden glücklich.
Am Samstag, entspannen wir uns bei meiner Wohnung. Wir müssen „carbo-load“ das heißt, ich koche Pasta, Knoblauchbrot und Salat zum Abendessen. Wir werden früh ins Bett gehen, weil wir den nächsten Tag um 4:00 Uhr aufwachen müssen.
Am Sonntag findet das Rennen statt. Weil ich viel Training gemacht habe, werde ich stolz auf mich, das Rennenziel zu erreichen. Nach den Marathon, waschen wir uns ab, bevor wir Essen gehen. Wir müssen immer noch entscheiden, wo und was wir essen möchten.
Am Montag, geht mein Bruder nach Chicago zurück. Das endet mein langes Wochenende.

Giovedì 31 ottobre
Ottobre è arrivato ed è pasato come se fosse stato un sogno. Mi piace questo periodo prima della fine dell'anno. Dà una sensazione di tranquillità e speranza.
Ho già richiesto i giorni di ferie per dicembre e gennaio. Spero che me li approvino. Ogni anno desidero iniziare il prossimo con alcuni giorni liberi, per riprendermi mentalmente.
Mia mamma va di nuovo in ferie. Fra qualche giorno parte per Roma. Non ci sono ancora andata, ma spero di visitarla in futuro.
È il suo compleanno presto, quindi le ho già comprato i regali e glieli do domani.
Ho anche ordinato online un profumo, però non l'ho ricevuto. Non credo che arrivi prima che lei parta, ma posso darglielo quando ritorna.

In Vaticano latine loquor
Sebbene si ritenga che il latino sia una lingua morta, è ancora la lingua ufficiale dello Stato papale, il Vaticano. La ragione è semplice capire: è stata la lingua liturgica del catolicismo romano durante molti secoli. Dal Concilio Ecumenico Vaticano II, il latino ha lasciato spazio a idiomi più moderni nella liturgia, ma il Vaticano ha preservato questa tradizione della lingua di Cicerone. Sui fori Internet, vedo spesso una domanda divertente: «se vai nel Vaticano, potrò parlare latino?» Sembra che ci siano persone dal mondo intero che imparano il latino (fine a un livello avanzato) e vogliono avere l'occasione unica, quasi anachronistica, di parlarlo con altri locutori, come parlerebbero qualsiasi lingua viva.
Ho letto recentemente che sempre meno preti parlavano latino (anche nel Vaticano). Molti di quelli che lo conoscono possono capirlo ma non parlarlo, perché una lingua morta non si impara come una lingua viva. Tuttavia, questo interesse per il latino mi rende felice. Non si tratta solo di gente che vuole impararlo come oggetto culturale, come oggetto istorico di curiosità, ma anche di gente che vuole riappropriarsi la lingua per farla vivere (nel caso latino, si potrebbe dire «ressuscitarla»). Come molte lingue antiche, il latino ha una grande richezza morfologica e semantica. Le lingue romanze attuale, che provengono da forme «volgari» del latino parlato nell'alto medioevo, ne hanno ereditato solo da una parte piccola dal vocabolario. Non sarebbe difficile creare neologismi per adattarlo alla società moderna. Questa inspirazione potrebbe dare un nuovo slancio vitale alle culture latine, che mi sembrano un po' perdite in una società mondializzata dominata dalla visione anglosassone.
Forse imparerò il latino un giorno. Devo dire che dal punto di vista estetico, artistico, il «bello latino» dei grandi autori romani mi piace meno delle lingue romanze moderne. Queste hanno una leggerezza, una sottigliezza che manca al latino, molto nobile ma pieno di «gravità» (nel senso romano della «gravitas»). È un luogo commune dire che il latino può chiarire la comprensione dei sui descendenti «volgari», ma è vero. Mi attrista che il mio governo non ha ne tempo ne denaro per l'insegnamento del latino. La lingua veicolare millenaria dell'Occidente, idioma di cultura e di arte, ristretto al piccolo Stato vaticano, sterà per cadere definitivamente nell'obvio? Dipenderà solo di noi!

Les faux amis entre les deux langues
Ma langue maternelle est anglais et je suis toujours soulagée quand le mot en français est similaire à celui en français. Il y a de nombreux mots dans les deux langues qui sont identiques ou représentent la même chose. Cependant, je me suis rendu compte qu’un seule mot en français ou même en anglais peut avoir plusieurs traductions.
Ce sont des « faux-amis ». Alors, quels sont les faux-amis les plus courants entre le français et l’anglais ? Quant à moi, l’un de ces faux-amis est « actuellement ». En anglais, je l’utilise comme une expression qui signifie véritablement. Mais en français, je crois que actuellement a le sense de en ce moment.
L’autre mot que je confonds tout le temps est « college ». En Australie, il désigne les dernières années de lycée pourtant aux États-Unis, c’est l’université et en France, je n’en sais plus. Et finalement, je m’embrouilles toujours les mots, une course comme une compétition, l’expression faire des course et un cours comme une formation. Oui, je suis très confuse à mes yeux, ils se ressemblent tous.

A little bit about my experience with English

Hello there,
I don't know how to introduce myself without giving too many details. Since I was young, I've been constantly learning and practicing English, whether it's with my classmates or online users (This is the case). These daily practices have led me to develop an admiration for the English language, finding it more simpler and resourceful than, in comparison, Spanish.
Even if this sounds like a cliché phrase, English allowed me to connect with people and make unexpected friendships within the Anglosphere. Hope you liked this short text, since I am tired and don't want to write anymore.
